With the transfer portal, it's going to be hard to build depth everywhere. Teams are going to be looking in the portal every year to replace their own guys that went in the portal. It's so hard to build any depth here. Honestly... As bad as they were, guys like ignont are still better than any other options we have. Now he transfers along with many others and add Banks dismissal. 2016 was the only year since the early 2000s that we had actual players beyond first and second string. Unreal
i hold @HoleInTheRoof viewpointArt Green is a worry, coming outta HS he was a 3 star .8004, WR prospect with 1 offer from Arkansas State... He does have great size though and the move to CB might have been a smart one. We'll see I'm sure they'd rather get a Freshmen in that spot, but being 1-4 might prevent us being able to pass on him if he's fully committed.
i've seen some West games on that late....Bama/LSU, LSU/Ole Miss, and i think the TN/Ole Miss game several years ago in Oxford was a 9 pm kick.....basicaly games played in the CST zone...........that are 8 pm kicks. there's been several.
yeah, usually, that's correct....you're not wrong....i'd have to go back and look it up....i know we've never played a home game with that late of kick off.....Well, now, they usually start at 6:00 CST and then show a game out west at 9:30 CST.
It's not a huge deal, but I am fairly confident that UT has never played that late. I guess LSU/Ole Miss have done it a few times. But it's funny that it's always at LSU. Looks like the league office or ESPN caved into Bama's complaints about playing afternoon games and wanted to give them the LSU treatment.
Is Kirkland still around the team? I would be begging him to at least suit up for games and only play him if an injury happens. Is he still planning to try out for the NFL?
Dang! We need to convince Ignont and Reid to stick out the season somehow. We won’t win any games if Bituli and Too Too go down. We might as well have seven DBs out there then. He's not going to risk injury. He's looking out for his future. I think he's still rehabbing his knee and prepping for the draft.
