If you love Jennings, i wish you could’ve been around Barnett. Calling him a dog doesnt do it justice.I wish we could genetically engineer an entire football team using JJ15's DNA.
Kid is everything you want in a football player. Wish he could have been part of a functional UT program. Very happy he got a second chance.
Reinstating JJ is a decision that Pruitt absolutely nailed and is proof for me that he knows what is needed for a winning program.... hope we give him time to bring in a team full of those types.
My wife has a masters in genetics. I’ll put her to work after the baby comes out.I wish we could genetically engineer an entire football team using JJ15's DNA.

Backend is very winnable games. Under no circumstances if they perform even close to the way they did tonight should we lose to Candy. We lost to a better team tonight, but I was encouraged by what I saw. I don't believe in moral victories, we lost, but that doesn't mean there aren't some positives to be found. Maurer impressed me against the #3 team in the nation. The team rallied around him. We have obvious weaknesses(like the DL), but I have hope we can compete with almost everyone left on the schedule except for Bama.
Kennedy said on the radio tonight he’s eligible for a 6th yearwe also really need Maurer to establish himself as the man going forward and into next year because we are losing a ton of production on offense. Top 2 WRs. Top TE. Trey is probably gone if he’s cleared, Kennedy is gone. I could see chandler leaving bc i think he tests well so could work his way into a late round pick maybe.
You can’t get pressure with your front 7. You blitz and they pick it up and pick you apart. We don’t have the depth or we aren’t going to burn some redshirts just to let someone sit for a series. So you got what you got.
Remember Auburn 98 SECCG? They blitzed like 7+ almost every play and created havoc. It was nuts. Wish we'd go nuts like that. Probably not vs Fromm, but Trask or the ga st kid...miss st for sure.I saw a zone blitz a time or two but they still sent only four. They were picking up chunks of yardage anyway. Why not send the kitchen sink a time or two? The defense was as bland as it could get.
Must be used to practicing against our offense that takes thirty seconds to line up and snap. God bless if we ever play a true tempo offense.Still wondering why the defense is still getting setup right before the snap. Seeing it live is so frustrating, they looked lost on the d-line.
With that said, I really liked the effort tonight and think we had some chances to score more but youth happened.
Don't think it is play calls. Basic scheme, execution, talent, development, etc. Our guys are still talking while the ball is snapping. It doesn't matter what the playcall is. Too complicated rn. We need simplification so guys can just play it seemsStarting to really wonder if the Ansley hire was a good one. Don't think it would be the worst thing in the world if Pruitt took it back over. Not many guys call a better defense than Jeremy.
Wow. But how?
I thought Chaney scripted a good plan early.
My only gripe was not getting Chandler more attempts. It's like they re just assuming we cant run the ball without trying.
Even with Maurer we re limited. The biggest difference I see is he can progress.
BM is the guy going forward. He had one bad play where he lofted the ball of for the INT. Otherwise I honestly thought he played about as good as anyone could have. Idk how many more wins we have in us this season, but I do know if BM is the starter we have a much better chance than before
Proud of the team for fighting till the end. First half was great until the last two minutes. Kirby made things difficult after that. Blitzing from everywhere. Meanwhile we send four all night for some odd reason and then we couldn't cover anybody. Very vanilla of D. Made it very easy for Fromm.
Oh well they scored twice, I didn't think they could do that.
Another note is JG. He acted like a real team player. Would have been easy for him to sulk but he was supportive of Mauer. Good on him.
