Reinstating JJ is a decision that Pruitt absolutely nailed and is proof for me that he knows what is needed for a winning program.... hope we give him time to bring in a team full of those types.

If you love Jennings, i wish you could’ve been around Barnett. Calling him a dog doesnt do it justice.

My wife has a masters in genetics. I’ll put her to work after the baby comes out.

We lost to a better team tonight, but I was encouraged by what I saw. I don't believe in moral victories, we lost, but that doesn't mean there aren't some positives to be found. Maurer impressed me against the #3 team in the nation. The team rallied around him. We have obvious weaknesses(like the DL), but I have hope we can compete with almost everyone left on the schedule except for Bama.

Backend is very winnable games. Under no circumstances if they perform even close to the way they did tonight should we lose to Candy.

Decent 1 half showing tonight and reminded me of the uga game last year. That's what I wanted to see, at a minimum.

But we still have the same problems we've had all season. Turnovers, mistakes, D is porous.

But we have a shot next week to set the tone for the backhalf. Hope everyone stays bought in.

If we could swap for an elite DL we might be 4-1 rn. They are drastically holding our defense down. I refuse to believe our secondary is just this bad.

I knew our dl would be below average, but I hoped DT could at least 1-off some pressure once in a blue moon. No Gooden kills too...

Remember Auburn 98 SECCG? They blitzed like 7+ almost every play and created havoc. It was nuts. Wish we'd go nuts like that. Probably not vs Fromm, but Trask or the ga st kid...miss st for sure.

Must be used to practicing against our offense that takes thirty seconds to line up and snap. God bless if we ever play a true tempo offense.

Don't think it is play calls. Basic scheme, execution, talent, development, etc. Our guys are still talking while the ball is snapping. It doesn't matter what the playcall is. Too complicated rn. We need simplification so guys can just play it seems

Just want us to get back to the UF and uga games that were at least 4 quarters of competition and hope of winning. These past 2 years with the crazy number of blowouts is making the Butch years feel like we were being spoiled. Yuck. I don't like that feeling.

One thought - He did RS his freshman year and missed basically all of last year due to injury. As long as the freshman RS decision is deemed "an institutional decision" he could be eligible for a waiver of the 5-year rule.

This is something they passed last year.

"This proposal recognizes that many redshirt decisions are made by a coaching staff member for a variety of reasons beyond the control of the student-athlete and may have a negative impact on a student-athlete's five-year period of eligibility. If adopted, this proposal would provide the opportunity for a student-athlete who was otherwise eligible for competition but was redshirted during his or her initial season, to receive an extension of the five-year period of eligibility, provided the student-athlete was denied an opportunity to participate in one additional season for reasons beyond the control of the student-athlete or institution".

How are we limited with Maurer when we stopped throwing deep?...that’s how we scored both TD’s. after that they went too short yardage management like they do with JG..totally uncalled for. Maurer was rocking tonight!..I’m proud of our boys...the D took a stand for as long as they could against the #3 team in the country we just need a damn pass rush.

But like the announcer said..he had his man beat Because he was falling,BM just floated the ball over the top when he should have gunned it.“freshman mistake “. I’ll live with that.the pass he made was a pass that JG would have never taken in a million years.BM is just confident in his ability and it showes.he trust our receivers enough to allow them to go up and make a play..both TD’s were the same way,JJ was even in double coverage and he split the two defenders.BM showed out I was impressed.they just need to quit micro managing him like they did after the two TD’s.

I’m serious when I say this.Kirby smart trashed their game plan in the first half..BM had them on their a$$.we had the lead like it just blows my mind how different we look with a better QB in.the energy the defense had was ELECTRIC like they were playing for something.Bryce Thompson was up in a freshman’s face tonight..like our energy was just different.i think you’ll see a different team going forward
