Auburn has more talent than UF but coaching will be the difference. I just can’t point to anywhere on our team that we look very well coached. I just don't get it man. I don't. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we know that our coaches can coach. We don't know if Pruitt will be a good head coach. But separate that from the staff, we know that Pruitt and Ansley are elite DB coaches. We know that Tee is an great WR coach. We know that Chaney is a great OC. We know that Rocker and Rumph are great defensive coaches. So how do we explain this? Talent is the biggest issue. But I agree its weird that we don't see much progression. Maybe we will as the season goes along.

ansley was only an elite DB coach under saban who handles the DBs himself. He wasn’t elite here or with the raiders lol.

I'm a new poster but have visited volnation quite a bit in the past. I did like the Pruitt hire at the time, and still think he has the potential, but whenever I saw people saying they'd much rather have Pruitt than Mullen I thought it was ridiculous. Mullen is the real deal IMO. Don't necessarily think he'll have UF at Spurrier/Meyer levels, but they will be good. I think you'll see him have them in that 9-11 win range every year.
