I think CJP has an issue with BM.

Not sure why. He won’t compliment him. Wasn’t glowing about him during the halftime interview and not committed to him starting next week.

That’s weak.

Back your guy up and give the team a guy to rally around.

I just think that is poor.

I don't get that at all. CP needs to break up with JG and go with the new kid in town.

For the JG haters out there talking bs before the game about where he was at the vol walk....

That’s classless.

Thanks goodness he stood up and showed real character tonight and was a vocal leader.

Hats off to 2 tonight and the way he conducted himself on the sidelines
Totally agree. By all indications , he was being a supportive, good teammate. People that are saying it's fake reality need to recheck their priorities.

Also, do we not have trick plays?

We should get some.

And I want to see Crouch play more RB.
I thought Chaney scripted a good plan early.

My only gripe was not getting Chandler more attempts. It's like they re just assuming we cant run the ball without trying.

Even with Maurer we re limited. The biggest difference I see is he can progress.

I disagree. He believes in him enough to start him halfway through his Freshman season over a 3 year starter. That says a lot even if the guy he replaced wasn't getting it done.

He stuck with him after the INT. I just think Pruitt comes from the Saban style of downplaying and critical coaching. I think he also knows that Maurer has plenty of confidence and is trying to keep him even keeled and not creating ridiculous expectations that he may or may not be able to live up to.

It's not like Maurer flashed nearly as much before tonight.

Yes and last I heard it might be bad
Bad was on crutches
He got hurt on a cheap shot that drew a flag and didn't play the rest of the game but I just read that they think the injury isn't serious. Was seen walking after the game with no limp.
Just looked it up on Twitter looked bad but reports are not as bad as originally thought. Our luck he’ll be healthy when we roll into town.

Bottom line with the whole deal is recruiting. Pruitt's first crop of freshmen look promising. Even if we don't make a bowl game, which to me is very unlikely, the program has to have some sort of momentum on the field going into the offseason. If he can somehow manage to pull another top 10-15 class, he has a decent shot to salvage this thing IMO.
