Wish we had a roster full of JJs. Love that kid! He’s all heart. Wish he could play defense. He would lay some licks to cause some turnovers.

When Mauer has not even been named the backup he sprinted onto the field when JG went down several games back. He has won his teammates and tonight he won the fans.

At least the heart is there tonight. We aren’t good enough to win this game, but that half was a much better performance than the first four games.

Maurer should get every snap for the rest of the year, barring injury. Kid has some ability and, just as importantly, this offense is playing hard for him.

They can open up the defense anytime they want now.

We found a QB and it is obvious that is what we needed.

They are not having issues every other play. The reason the defense has been bad tonight is because they aren’t wrapping up. They are a bad no call away from arguably being down by a TD to a top 5 team. Quit responding to these negative ass posters in here.

Pruitt needs to go back to what he said he would do after playing very conservative the first game of the year… He said he would call the games aggressively from here on out. He needs to do that with his defense ASAP!

All of it is on the D now.. Pruitt and Ansley need to get to work. They have issues with passes in the middle of the field with the safeties and Shamburger. They have issues with run support on weak side runs with Jackson and Shamburger. Crouch is not ready - use him on O. The LB's get out of sync on their assignments. More pressure on the QB.
