Youre comparing a top SOS, including a SECCG and bowl game, versus 3 cupcakes lmao.

Still, your point stands to a degree. Sure every team is different. My point is he did some work on Smart's defense (JP obviously knows it in and out). So he could again.

Sharing stats isn't comparing stats, hope this helps.

Last season was also Helton as the OC. You don't think Smart & Georgia aren't chomping at the bit to shutdown Chaney, the OC we plucked from them? It could get ugly fast. I get sunshine pumping, my only point is if Maurer struggles isn't not necessarily that he's worse than JG. It -is- the best defense in the SEC right now based on 2019 results so far to this point.

The only silver lining is this situation....Roman & Crouch will be getting a ton of PT moving forward and for the rest of this season.

We said early CJP needed to lose 8 to sign a full class, I think Banks is the 6th one gone now.

Bailey, Murphy, Ignont, Jones, Reid, Banks

Not sure if this totally affects the young guys you mentioned - they haven’t been playing inside. They may have to now though, obviously.

Crouch worked with ILB all Spring too...

Pretty sure Banks has had more issues pop up, I bet the local media/PD did more digging and something else surfaced that just hasn't gone public.

I was impressed with the limited sample. He brought it.

Yea I agree that his energy and future potential is a big loss. Just doesn't change anything for me this season I guess. Probably because I'm just apathetic at this point. What a wasted season

This doesn't really move the needle on the ILB situation for me to be honest. After Bituli and HT it was a joke anyway, not like Banks was pushing for PT. I mean, the kid is a RB learning to play LB so not like it is some crippling loss. Sucks for him and his future potential, but this doesn't change anything this season if we're being honest.
Kinda thought similar, except after reid and ignont left, we really needed every man available. He also could have been good in the future. And was a dog on STs. Sucks regardless.

My expectation is Crouch is moved back to ILB, Roman then gets more reps at OLB since Crouch will be getting his reps at ILB.

Unless they just decide to keep Crouch at OLB...but he's the only other LB on roster that's worked with the interior group far as I know.

Yep. I'm sure there will be a story to drop tonight or tomorrow in time that the national broadcast can talk about it plenty to fill time when we're getting blown out in the second half.

Has Crouch bulked up since the spring? Seems like he has and that’s he’s closer to DL territory to them.

At this point I expect only bad news, so I am neither surprised nor disappointed.

Oh, and we will lose by 50+ tomorrow.
