So I guess he was concussed in 3 of 4 games this year from snap 1 of each game. You guys are reaching here.

If the coaches did think he may have CTE, there is no way they would ever trot him out there again. It would actually give them somewhat of an "excuse" for the bad record this year and an "excuse" to play a backup QB that is not ready to play yet.

There is absolutely no way that he has CTE. I feel confident in making that claim even though I am not his coach nor his doctor.

I respect that. JMO but we are not competing with JG by looking at his record as a starter and how we have looked this year. We have no idea how competitive we can be with Maurer or Shrout given a full game and running with the 1’s. But I agree, we need a competitive game to give hope for the future and then win a few down the road as well.

The only thing that I would like to know is if they've had this video for a few days and intentionally held it to this week. If they had it last week but chose to hold it to this week because it's game week, that tells me there is an agenda involved.

CTE can only be diagnosed during an autopsy, and JG is also incredibly young to already have symptoms. I think JG's poor play just comes down to him not being able to handle the pressure of this stage of his college career. Like virtually all college players he wants to get drafted and he's overthinking things. He didn't have time to think last year and played better because he played on pure football instinct. Now he's second guessing himself which results in late throws.

I don't care if they just got it 5 mins before they released it. Point is they didn't have to at all.

It is way to early to say whether or not Pruitt will get it done here. We have had like 3 winning seasons in a decade and because Pruitt hasn't completely turned it around in 1 year with 1 recruiting class people are saying he's not the guy and will never make it here. That is the epitome of insanity. I'm not saying there aren't things to be concerned about, but you can't turn around years and years of crap in 1 year.

But, in order to be successful here he has to recruit well. He recruited very well last year. That freshman class is legit. He needs 3 more in order to get us back to some semblance of being competitive again with the big programs. The problem is, he has many enemies and they aren't just the opposing teams on the field. That video of banks would not have been sought out and released by any of the media by our rivals. Wouldn't have happened. Where's Bill Norton's video? Where's the Fl players arrests video? Where's the bama arrests video? You don't see them anywhere.

But its not only that, the media spins the narrative negatively. If you listen to the entirety of the video, Pruitt did absolutely nothing wrong. He didn't say anything wrong, he didn't insinuate anything. He was clearly confused at 4 in the morning and was frustrated that he wasn't notified so that he could have helped the player fix the problem. And yet the local media and the national media who are still upset about Schiano, twisted it into something negative and even wrote an article saying that phone call proves Pruitt isn't ready to be a head coach.

That type of garbage is going to be difficult to overcome. It has a purpose, they want to hurt him and our program. That type of thing can hurt recruiting. Hopefully he can overcome it.

LOL people will believe anything. Especially if it’s bad news about Tennessee Volunteer football.
