Missouri loses their QB (again) and this time will also lose their stud RB (most likely leaving for the draft early). They are also under Odom a historically bad team early in the season. Last year all 4 regular season losses happened before Halloween, 2017 they started the year 1-5 and didn't lose another game until the bowl game.
Just not sure we’re in the same tier with them. Even at our best they do things we don’t matchup against. We’ll likely be breaking in as many new players as they will. I think that’s solidly in the loss column.

Eh, no point arguing. Lotta ball has to be played before then anyway.

Bad start to the season might be a blessing in disguise since it’s going to force us to recruit instate. That’s what butch did to turn things around. He got in trouble when he started ignoring guys instate or missing on them

Uh oh, that’s gonna upset the anti-zip code recruiting crowd.

This kind of stuff is used in negative recruiting. Look how many kids get in trouble at UT. It’s getting real hard to support. Maybe they should let it burn. I’m very discouraged that we will never win big again. Media and city doesn’t care. Let Knoxville burn.
WTH?..😳 Come on man..smh. 🤦‍♂️

Well, Florida wants to compete for championships. I don't think they hire football coaches expecting 9-3/10-2 every year. I do think that is relevant with the Mullen discussion. Sure, Mullen would probably have a better record than Pruitt here, but Florida hires coaches to win big.

He’s as capable as anyone not named Urban Meyer, Nick saban, Dabo Swinney, Jimbo Fisher.

Maurer should be average by season's end. He seems to have the right temperament and enough tools. Once he learns the offense better, he should be good. Then he will have Bailey pushing him to get better. Next year should be OK at the QB spot. We should still try to get a grad transfer as well.
Hill already fits that purpose without taking a class spot.

As punishment for banks , they should play the entire video in front of the whole team with banks present.

Bro...I would guess that there's plenty of players on the team who feel the same way. It wouldn't resonate the way you think.

Best thing for Banks is for him to listen to JP and his coaches, take the advice that they give, listen to it, do well enough in class to get a degree, do well enough on the field to continue to play, and leave here a better man.

Live and learn. Better not bitter.

He might have a better record here because he's more experienced. Probably wouldn't have lost to GSU. But anyone who thinks Mehlen would have come here and won 10 games with us like he did with Florida is insane. Dan has been a head coach for over a decade. How about we give Pruitt more than 1.4 seasons to show us if he's going to be a good coach or not?

South Alabama sure proved that Mehlen was a below average coach. Troy sure proved that Orgeron was a below average coach. ULM sure proved that Saban was a below average coach.

I wonder where those losses rank in history, but I imagine they aren’t as bad as Pruitt’s. Ga St has played football for about 10 years. I believe Ga St is top 3 or 4 worst losses in college football history. Really shows he’s the guy to rebuild this thing.

It's 1.33 Bass, you even know how to math?

Agreed though, I think we're sitting at more than 6 wins in the first 16 games...but 10 wins wasn't happening year 1 under any coach. WVU, @ Georgia, Alabama were loses and then @ Auburn, Missouri, @ South Carolina were tough games based on roster talent.

Mullen likely wins ETSU, UTEP, Florida, Charlotte, Kentucky, Vandy. Then @ Auburn, @ South Carolina, Missouri the 3 toss ups but I would have banked on him getting 7 or 8 max.
