I lived in Cordova for 5 years. If it's been a while since you have been to Cordova you might want to take another stop by. Cordova isn't Orange Mound, but it isn't anywhere close to being a notch below Germantown.

If it reflects his feelings, what does it matter if he actually wrote it or not. Have you ever quoted something someone said that reflects the way you feel?

Yes and most of us have things we aren't proud of even to LEO but basically threatening to shoot them if was different than what we done as dumbass youngsters

If he didn’t write it, and was forced to release it to the media by the AD and University how can you be sure it reflects the way he feels?

Have you watched the entire hour long video? It puts the entire “statement” in dispute.

Im a little concerned that Pruitt was obviously trying to influence the Police not to arrest Banks. This shows there is likely No Discipline on the team, and Answers all the questions. Pruitt SHOULD have been pissed (At Banks) that he was awakened at 3:15 AM and having to deal with a Guy that doesn't know how to handle himself. NO WONDER we are looking at 3-9.

Once again, I don't care. For 8 seasons, we had someone who was car salesman-ish and wanted to look and sound perfect in the media's eyes daily. That ain't Pruitt and that will never be Pruitt.

Now with that said, Tennessee's Head Coach will always be the most important person in the state of Tennessee and there are things that come with that in terms of Media. However, Pruitt is a first time head coach. There will be things that will have to be learned and public speaking may very well be one. However, it is hardly a major thing right now. He only has to nail the interviews with coaches and recruits in terms of his speaking. That's it.

I mean, I just don’t understand why we can’t use this as an opportunity to warn Pruitt, aight? Should situations like these arise in the future that embarrass or in any way jeopardize UT’s institutional integrity, leverage the fire with cause clause. A no-brainer, if you ask me. We rid ourselves of ineptitude and financial responsibility. Then, we go back to what we do best—coaching searches!

Nobody does a coaching search like UT. N.O.B.O.D.Y. Hell, it’ll be more exciting than watching the colonoscopies and wisdom teeth removals we’re currently being fed.

Key words "dumbass youngsters" kicking him off the team will do nothing to cure him of being a dumbass youngster. It will probably make him worse.

In college,and doesn't know how to pay a traffic ticket?

Everybody involved should be on notice that this type of embarrassment will not be tolerated.

Everything is magnified right now, and the technology of body cams and backseat cams make it even more public. Due to the threats they face and legal ramifications of accusations against them, the police rightfully will put the evidence of their behavior out in the public sphere. Gone are the days of he said/ she said.

The program needs to set their policies accordingly.

I lived in Bartlett and Midtown Memphis for 8 years. Bartlett, Cordova, Germantown and Collierville are suburbs of Memphis, none of which are remotely as dangerous and destitute as Memphis. When I lived was there, there was some “Memphis creep” happening and Cordova was beginning to get a good bit of it.....but it in no way was it is anything comparable to Orange Mound or Brooks road or the other areas of Memphis that people are referencing when trying to make excuses for Banks thug behavior.

His Attorney wrote this. If you agree that Banks need some discipline (Other than Coach Speak) email UT. Or write a letter to Fulmer. I plan to do that.

Where he's from, they don't pay traffic tickets. I've had the CAO of Memphis say that to me as to why Memphis doesn't enforce traffic laws/speed limits, etc. (the cost of the labor outweighs the revenue since over 60% of tickets don't get paid).....

You really think that reflects his feelings? Lol. He told us who he is and what he truly thinks in that video. If he can read, which is unlikely, I doubt he’d appreciate one damn thing said in that statement and probably even be pissed off by it.

As far as your Pruitt Derangement Syndrome comment, not sure where that’s coming from. I said not one thing about JP. Matter of fact, I’m firmly supportive of him and don’t blame him even 1% for this situation. I blame one person and one person only.....Jeremy Banks.
