Boy, that defense in year one sure was stellar. Trotting out Daniel Hood, Jacques Smith, Dontavis Sapp, Brent Brewer, Jaron Toney, Sutton as a freshman, Brian Randolph, and Ladarell McNiel as starters. Max Arnold was a backup safety. That roster was awful.

Year one was probably Butch’s best coaching job. Was an overturned review from beating a 9-4 Vandy team and making a bowl. Lost to UGA in OT on an effort play.

If Pruitt doesn't convert AT & Bryce do you want to know who our corners are last year? Woof

Yea, that was interesting. I guess they saw enough in practice, and I wonder if they felt that he was similar to Fitzgerald in that he couldn't quite process Moorhead's offense.

Quality of shirt is trash but I’m glad to support a good cause.

The one I got from the Vol Shop is comfortable. If your shirt is itchy, or looks like Z06's shirt, you got a knock-off. Also, your money didn't go to a good cause if you didn't order from the Vol Shop

Yea, I understand. Butch had laid the work for getting Taylor. But, Pruitt had 4 and 5 star players at every level on the field- both offense and defense.

I am not out on Pruitt- I think he's a good football coach. He has things to figure out. But the first year rosters under Dooley and Butch were atrocious, and it isn't even close.

I think JG starts and the other 2 play a lot.

Depending on what happens I think Maurer or Shrout start against State with the same cloud next week.

Yep. They’re going to checker our stadium and Kirby is going to put it on Pruitt and Chaney for purely personal reasons. Not to mention the recruiting impact - we’ve got a few Georgia boys I’m sure they want to poach.

Our defensive front seven just isn’t going to be able to hold up for 60 minutes. Much like Florida, if we don’t score early we might not score 7 points.

If we don't score a TD, which is certainly a possibility, we will not have scored a TD in 9 quarters

JJ Peterson's named mentioned by Pruitt as being in the 2 deep now at inside linebacker.

Maybe the kid will continue to improve.

Of course, it helps when 2 guys in front of you leave the team.

Maybe this team plays lights out on Saturday and makes it a game. Not expecting it, but no one saw UNC taking Clemson to the last minute of the game either.
