Little fantasy football advice requested
Two little known choices but both have been solid so far
Pick:
Chris Godwin Bucs (listed as questionable)
Or
Marquez Valdez-Scantling
I am too. I didn't say otherwise. The fact remains that when the program continues to be at the bottom tier of the college football landscape people quit buying tickets. The longer it goes, the worse it gets. People get tired of paying good, hard earned money to go over there on Saturdays and watch their team get embarrassed. Some will continue to go to games regardless of whether the team is wins any games, but many won't. If we continue on this downward path and finish the season with one or two wins, season ticket sales for 2020 will suffer.I’m not a customer. I’m a Volunteer from Tennessee, win or lose. Like my dad, I’ll go to my grave as a Tennessee Volunteer.
Vols, Dolphins, Cubs and Jazz........other than the 98 National Championship and The 2016 World series my sports fandom is full of disappointment. My only joy right now is the fact that The Cubs have more World Series Championships this decade and century than The Braves. Why are you the way you are?

The administration has taken advantage of fans, fans like you for years. They count on your loyalty regardless of what product they put on the field. The hiring of Dooley and Butch was a slap in the face of the Tennessee fanbase. There is new leadership in place and hopefully that has changed.
Hopefully the Vols can overcome the embarrassing start and win a few so fans will still have some hope for next year, recruiting is strong, and season ticket sales will be good. If not I'm afraid were in for another decade of misery.

I didn't mean to question your fandom. There are many like you. I also didn't mean to insinuate that you ignorant or downtrodden or somehow an unaware, pitiful victim. That doesn't mean the university hasn't taken fan loyalty for granted.I know you’re a Vols fan. I hear you, and understand your point of view but mine take is different. They CAN count on my loyalty and I don’t mind that they know it. I don’t feel taken advantage of because I’m not ignorant or downtrodden. I choose to continue to go to every game I can and I can’t imagine a time when I wouldn’t.![]()
Oh, I think it's two fold. I think it's incompetence and shopping on a shoe string budget. They never set their goals very high, never had the same opinion of the university that us fans had. Do you think our rivals would have hired any of the last three coaches? I don't think so.While some of this may be true, I don’t believe coaches were hired just to be average. I think many AD’s want to win just like everyone else. Some are just not very good at achieving that goal by hiring a good coach. It’s incompetence as opposed to just purposely hiring an average coach.
We have had incompetent leadership. I don’t think they purposely discuss hiring average coaches because the fans will continue to show up.
I have always wanted them to pay the money, but UF hired Zook, Meyer, Muschamp, and McElwain in a row. None had prior P5 experience as a head coach. They were going with a similar route. You just have to be competent and hire the right one.
@quadlee21 sitting pretty at 5-0, wrecking every other fool dumb enough to face him.
