Cool thing happening on Lake volatil tomorrow. A few months ago 2 bald eagles were fighting and 1 was injured pretty bad. Someone in our neighborhood saved it and took it to get help. It finally has recovered enough to be released back into wild. They are going to release it back on our neighborhood lake tomorrow.

Remember that tornado that hit Bama a few years back? Now I was praying nobody got hurt but I was sure hoping it would take out that God awful stadium.

I’m ashamed to say I was present at the beginning of the end: 2001 SEC championship game, the backup QB curse began and continues.....

Another favorite game was the multi (5?) OT game with Arkansas around 2002 with the Clausen to Witten TD for the win or was that the Bama multi-OT win, either way, both were memorable and both my kids were watching with me. My kids were around 7 and 11 at the time. I remember telling both of them, don't worry, UT (we) will win. Both times after the game, my kids said, " how did u know", I said, " because we always win games like this and have more talent, plus our QB (Casey) is better and clutch". Man, I miss those days. Wished I had enjoyed those days more. Hell, that was the beginning of the end, but we still won games like those 2 and I expected us to. Thank God, my kids still mostly remember those days
