How do other teams get around bad QBs? Goodness gracious we act like we’re the only team with this problem.

Figure it out and beat BYU and Georgia State. It’s that simple.

Lol we were in position to beat BYU and JG couldn’t freaking find any receivers Chaney had guys wide open all over the place. You are being oblivious to the fact that the coaching staff has had guys in position to make plays and the guys aren’t executing.

Since we have obviously had the worst QB play of all time, when we get even a warm body in there next year - even though it will be a true frosh - we should expect a 9-3 record. The other pieces are apparently in place.

Teams with a bad QB and an OL that is, on its best day, just ok? Win with defense, special teams, and shortening the game.

But if we trotted out an offense that only threw the ball 12-15 times a game and just tried to run the clock and take FGs, fans would be ticked off and then we’d just be wasting maybe our best position group.

It’s been a crappy time, but we’re just gonna have to be patient and deal with it. Barring a scandal of some sort, we won’t see a change this year. We’ve just gotta hope Pruitt can keep the team together and get younger guys to keep improving. The season’s sunk and year 3 just became way more important.

No use in doing anything besides sitting back and waiting to see at this point. Talk of Pruitt getting fired is dumb and won’t happen unless we get the intern-banging, late-night-drunk-fighting Pruitt of lore we heard so much about when we first hired him.

I guess i don’t look at our team playing hard as an accomplishment or something to be proud of but more or a requirement. That is literally job #1 imo as a coach to make sure your team plays hard all the time.

So I’m never going to comment our team for playing hard. Coaches in general are paid too much money to let their teams not play hard.
I said playing hard AND producing but you already knew that. But there's been plenty suggesting otherwise on the effort. No clue if you have, been scrolling too much.

Only noticed this because I saw Nick liked it so I thought you might have given a real response and not omitted half the subject. Maybe it's frustration but obviously the standard for likes isn't what it used to be.🙄

Lol 😂 no one said all the pieces are in place but serviceable QB play wins the Georgia State and BYU game period.

BYU is not a good football team and losing close is not a feather in this staff’s hat.

I’m not shouting about firing Pruitt now, but he has the worst loss in UT history and likely will have the worst season in UT history on his resume. Dooley didn’t do that. Neither did Butch. Tough to see Pruitt turning it around.
