Call me crazy but crouch is right now about 255 but i think he should slowly put on about 20lbs and play a hybrids undersized DT.

Similar to what Ed Oliver is. Oliver was about 6’2 270 at Houston. Crouch is prolly 6’1 255
Pruitt said today he is 248.

Anyone else hear Barton Simmons on ESPN U radio a little while ago? They asked him about Tennessee, and to my surprise he was relatively upbeat, said obviously we're not seeing the results on the field that we would like, but he was confident that with our staff we would be able to continue to recruit well and get this turned around.

He was asked specifically about our current transfers leaving the program and he alluded to Butch Jones classes being recruits that were more interested in being recruited than they were playing football.

He went on the say that the 2019 class were football players first and foremost. Seemed to think the blueprint for that class and future classes is correct and will help right the ship.

I thought it was interesting to say the least.
Elijah Simmons going to get to play some....great news and waiting for Roman Harrison to become more involved.....Crouch said Roman was like a missle (something to that affect)

Reading Rucker's article really put into perspective for me just how bad our roster talent really is. I am so glad we are losing some dead weight so we can replace them with better talent. Its going to be a rough this season but I just want to see us start playing decent football. I will watch and I will root for my team even against GA and Bama. The biggest challenge for CP is can he put a very good recruit class together this year. I like we are going to be playing more of our Freshman.

I’ve mentioned before that I’m probably older than most people here. Actually I’ve always measured my age in galactic years so I’m really very much older than you may have previously understood. You see a galactic year is equivalent to around 220 million earth years so you can see I’ve been around for a quite a while.

Anyway I wanted to share this story about a broadcast that I was watching from the coliseum in Rome I guess it was probably around 2,000 earth years ago now. The home team had started the new season struggling actually pretty bad. They had this guy on at halftime that was pretty popular with a lot of the fans of the home team. The guy I think had spent a lot of time in like home-building or cabinet making or something like that. He was a guy’s guy. One of the things I notice about him that stood out was he had this like really long hair but he was clean. He wasn’t like a hippie or anything like that. I mean it was obvious he wasn’t a rich guy but he presented himself extremely well and it was widely known that he had a lot of influence with sort of like the common man. A lot of people thought he was really smart. He was very well spoken.

Anyhow, the guy’s name translated into English was Jesus. The guys who were calling the game asked him what his take was on the performance of the home team thus far into the season.

And this is what Jesus said:

Watch out for false coaches. They come to you with fluffed up resumes, but inwardly they are greedy imposters. By their teams you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good coach fields a good team, but a bad coach fields a bad team. A good coach cannot field a bad team, and a bad coach cannot field a good team. Every coach that does not field a good team is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their teams you will recognize them.
I promise you I am not making this up.

Spot on.....people defending this roster is insane. This is a G5 or worst roster that Lyle left Pruitt.

Not disputing this but how is it that no one inside the program seemingly realized this until now? Anything that leaked out from the coaching staff and VFLs this summer indicated a bunch of optimism in this team.
