On defense Georgia is 5th in the country in rushing defense and are giving up an average of 57 ypg. They are 47th in passing yards allowed per game and are giving up 205 ypg.
On offense they are 58th in the country in passing offense are passing for 255 ypg. They are 19th in rushing offense are averaging 253 ypg.
They are 18th in scoring offense and are scoring 42 ppg. They are 4th in the country in points allowed per game at 10 ppg.
So it would seem like that our best chance to score points against Georgia is to throw the football.
Once they enter the portal we are fully capable of pulling the scholarship for anything beyond this semester. Only thing we can't do is kick em out immediately.I bet they graduate by the end of the summer and the crazy part is our AD will be forced to foot the bill if that’s the route they choose to go
I ask myself this all the time. Imo, best thing we can do is let Pruitt ride this out for 2 more years. We know Pruitt can evaluate good defensive players. So if he fails at year 4 . At least we have some talent, for next coach. Will we ever be good again? Like elite? Serious question. We have all the facilities and money and fans and stadium to be top 10 every year but will we?
He's at MGCCC and doing pretty well. JUCO in Perkinston Miss.I was tripping through the transfer portal and I notice this for Maleik Gray. Does that mean he’s given up football?

Firing bad coaches does not keep good coaches from being interested in the job. That’s a myth.
We just don’t hire the good coaches.
Butch Jones made a bowl game in his second year and landed a top 5 class. A lot better than what we’re doing right now.And of course you know who the good coaches are. Sorry dude, just because a guy wins some games at a smaller school or one with less competition doesn't mean he'll win championships here. And championships are all we really care about. You can spin it otherwise to fit your argument, but here, winning isn't enough. Does the name Butch Jones ring a bell? Before coming here he would be on that list of low-level coaches you so proudly throwing out.
