TOS Reporting 3 players likely to enter transfer portal

From GoVols Group Text: Absent from practice on Tuesday LB Will Ignont LB Shanon Reid WR Jacquez Jones

Reid and Jones are officially in the portal, Ignont isn't as far as I know. Jordan was at practice today.

So, appears OP was accurate.

You keep repeating that as if doing so will change the quality of the product these coaches are putting out on the field every Saturday. The reality is that Pruitt is a first time HC, who hasn't ever had to develop non-4/5* talent on defense prior to his hiring here at UT, and his coaching hires have been suspect at best given the regression we've seen at nearly every phase of play except for special teams.
Suspect hires? Who? He hired Martin and Chaney which were widely thought to be slam dunk hires. I'm sure some dipstick thought those were bad hires but 99% thought those were grand slam hires. Ansley also was well thought of. Most critical move was probably keeping Friend and the line has improved a lot with young players contributing there.

Pruitt has struggled to be sure and fault him as much as you want but those hires were hardly "suspect".

Hiring Helton as his first OC. Kevin Sherrer his Hoover HS buddy as his first DC. Hiring a lifetime defensive position coach in Ansley to be his second DC. Hiring his close friend and college roommate Will Friend to be his offensive line coach.

How's that working out so far for Pruitt? Paying dividends on the field each week?

Good points so why have we seen these players regress? Is that all on the coaches? No it isnt. Try and spin it whatever way you want but these guys are not executing properly. The coaches definitely arent doing very well. But players deserve blame as well.

We hear this with every coach.

If Pruitt doesn't work out then we will be saying he ran them off.
Well no it’s actually not .. this group of coaches have the best pedigrees of ANY coaching staff in UT history so you think just forgot how to coach or are doing it on purpose or ?

every coach on this staff has had great success on a variety of levels. Pruitt has been successful and made the team better at every single place he has coached. So ...
