And (most of us) saw them play...that’s where the comparison ends. Dobbs wasn’t a dual threat because he CHOSE to be...it was because he was physically capable. Hill ain’t.
Quite honestly, he’s the only QB on the roster recruited by Pruitt so we’ll take that for what is worth. With Maurer being recruited by Helton

He very well mag have enough courses to make it

We don’t know that
I wouldn’t put “very well” on it. There’s a reason it’s not a common option. Barnett knew he wasn’t playing his true freshman season and doubled up his coursework while redshirting. You’re suggesting Maurer is further along at the same point. No, we don’t KNOW that he’s not an academic marvel, but I’m confident enough to wager you a $1000 dollars that if he were to transfer, he wouldn’t be a redshirt freshman at his next 4 year stop. C’mon yellabelly!

And? That has...what...to do with being a dual threat...exactly? I think the HC wants the best guy on the field...so they can help him win and shizz.

Russell Smith just said he talked to someone in the coaching profession and it’s not great. The word is out on Pruitt. He’s an extreme micromanager and a poor people person. And he’s fixing to lose a lot of the staff.
Well hell, that's not new information. What has he let Ansley do since bringing him here? He's certainly not calling defensive plays. That's Pruitt's baby. He better learn quickly how to be a head coach and trust his assistants. That's obvious.

I am not going to run any of our players down as long as they are giving effort and doing their best. Sometimes, it is hard to tell about that at certain positions, but I am going to assume some recruits and/or families read this board (yuck it up, if you must) and just support my team. It has been rough, but it will get better at some point. I do hope it is soon.

Just like josh Dobbs wasn’t a dual threat? Ran scout team as GA ST QB. Just a thought
No, not exactly, because Josh Dobbs was dual threat. Kasim HIll has been more of a pocket passer at Maryland.

Edit: Here are his career rushing stats:
Rushing

2017 He had 12 rushes for 60 yards with 1 and a long of 16 yards

2018 He had 40 rushes for -15 yards, 0 TD with a long of 13 yards.

As long as we’re doing that, throw JG’s rushing numbers up there. I’m guessing they’re not good. All he seems to do is slide 3 yards before a first down.

My point was that all options need to be looked at, not just the quarterbacks that are available today, and Hill was the highest rated coming out of high school

This years seems to be in the toilet. I was looking at the future. Maybe a flawed look with thinking Kasim Hill was more of a dual threat, but to think that Bailey is the answer from the day he steps foot on campus is also flawed.
