My last comment on the matter, and feel free to ignore:

Recruits are watching how the fanbase handles the adversity of the next month. And by recruits, I mean some that we really, really want and will be on campus in the coming weeks. They feel that they will be the difference next year and are excited to get on campus and kickstart the rebuild. But they wonder about playing in a toxic environment where fans are against them. And they wonder about committing to coaches who've told them they would be here, but are getting trashed by fans. They wonder what kind of family UT really is. Relationships and support: they matter.
Yes, yes, yes. We say that we are the best fanbase in the country, and I believe that we are. We just need to keep showing the world that we truly are.

To be fair, who is to say Schiano couldn't have been in a better spot year 2 than Pruitt either?

He shouldn't have been choice #1...heck probably shouldn't be in the top 10. He did however have HC experience and built Rutgers from nothing.

Plenty of national media came to his defense as well.

He would have been WAY better. He was a good hire and Peyton knew it

Chris Rumph:
“It seems like I have a bad habit of coming up here after some bad news or a bad loss. I guess y’all have to deal with me again? Let’s be honest, there is nobody in this room satisfied with where we are as a program. We are 1-3. It has been a long time since you guys had something to cheer about. Just with this crowd, this many in here, this is the people we’re dealing with. The kind of fans that we’re dealing with, that you guys are here. I feel bad. Sometimes I feel bad for you guys (the fans) as much as a I feel bad for myself or sometimes even the team. Because I know what you guys have poured into the program. The support. Whether it’s cheering, whether it’s your donation, whether it’s your time, whether it’s you pride. Things you have to deal with. And I apologize about it. But I can tell you what, being in that building (Anderson Training Center) back there, you’ve got a coach that is rolling up his sleeves and is getting to work.

“It’s only one way we can fix a problem. Well, there’s really two ways. The first one, we have to go to work. We have to go to work. Work hard. We’re definitely putting in the time, putting in the hours everyday. Trying to come up with schemes putting guys in the best possible position to be successful. Then we have to go out there and recruit. So, one of the ways that you guys can help us, is by recruiting. Because what happens a lot of times, these prospects, they’re reading the message boards. They’re looking for it. You have the Georgia's, the Alabama's, the Arkansas’s, the Ole Miss’s and all this stuff. You’ve got guys over there saying, ‘Well let’s see what this fan base is saying about this particular player.’ And right now our quarterback is struggling. So we don’t need to be out there bashing and stuff. I know you want to do it. I know you’re frustrated … all I know is we have a bunch of great coaches over there, led by Coach (Jeremy) Pruitt, that is going to get the job done.

If that’s the case..well then it’s easy for me

You have to wonder why we didn't go with Maurer from the beginning like USC did with their True Fr QB Slovis. I understand that JG was the starter last year, and they were happy with him in practice. But something has completly damaged his confidence this year. He's damaged goods.

Not even “damaged good”..just Damaged.

Yep and anyone that thinks that the recruits dont pay attention are clueless. It may be the deciding factor, because all the others boxes got checked off, academics, facilities, coaches.
