The number of "if it's true", and "what ifs" I've already read this morning..
Guys, I strongly urge use of the ignore feature. TN fans shouldn't have to sit thru the crap happening on the field, definitely shouldn't come here and deal with those feasting on and wallowing in the opportunity.
Anyone that's offended by this, good.
This board and fan base are a microcosm of civilization falling apart in the apocalypse. Things go wrong, people go stupid. Then turn on one another
Seeing the likes certain posts are getting,.. proof the crazier things become, the more attention the insane are given.

Siap.
Charges dropped against Bryce Thompson. Don't know if that's current or not, just saw it.
That's true. And, further to my point, people in here talking about how Butch's classes were better than what Pruitt is showing so far. Butch's first two classes had 35 and 27. Again, 12 extra spots that he was able to flip in his first couple years.I think there’s now an observable correlation between the 25/class cap and the overall top-heaviness of college football.
Would be terrible for the kids. Other then that, I have no problem with organized protests. Won't happen anyway.
A protest is whatever people want it to be. The fans basically have no power at all. We can bitch at each other on to forums, but we really have no power. Having less then 20k fans at neyland, something would change. Whether we agree or disagree with said protest, they can be effective.protests show organization, unity, and in a way support. letting people know loudly 'we support the University, but, we demand excellence' is different than 'hey **** you! y'all suck, i'm done'.
Tennessee have no choice but to show up and cheer as hard as possible. It’s literally our only weapon at this point
Effective in what? What's the goal, just to show how mad you are? Makes no sense to me.A protest is whatever people want it to be. The fans basically have no power at all. I would take any of the last three in a heart beat. I guarantee you we would get to a bowl game this year with any of them. We need to stop saying there isn’t a way out of this. There is, you hire a proven head coach and watch ticket sales sky rocket and donations go back up to where the buy outs are not a big deal. Fulmer absolutely is questioning what to do right now. I think he lets the season play out, but I know for a fact there are discussions being had on what to do in case we only win one or two games. If we’re going HC searching soon, just find a guy from any level with a track record of winning consistently over the span of several years.
Kiffin was an OC
Dooley had no track record of winning at La Tech
Butch had success in 2-3 year stops but didn’t have proven success with his own players long term
Pruitt was a DC
As much as I’d love someone like Whittingham, Mendenhall, etc, those guys aren’t leaving Utah/UVA to come here. If we’re gonna go cheap, go from the Harsin/Cutcliffe/Satterfield group instead of a hotshot coordinator or a guy who had one good year.
If you want something to change, sometimes you have to fight for it. I have no problem with a protest whether I agree with it or not. If it makes no sense to you, do not participate in a protest. Or just counter protest and fill neyland.Effective in what? What's the goal, just to show how mad you are? Makes no sense to me.
