It's plain to see that Pruitt is not letting Ansley call the plays on defense. I think this is Pruitt's main problem. Until he learns to let his assistants do their job, he's gonna struggle.Just really starting to wonder if Pruitt not the assistants are the problem. Is he hamstringing them everywhere?
Eventually the money train runs out when you slap those people in the face for over a decade. I’m not saying “Empty Neyland” but I can guarantee I’m not going to another game for a long time. I haven’t been to a game since last year. I’m not spending my money to get mad.People on Twitter are already tweeting #EmptyNeyland... Fans need to support the young players and JJ who are giving their all for Tennessee Football.
Tbf uf and a&m are in completely different places than us. Maybe at 2-2 we wouldnt be so bad off right now either. Ga St and this blowout ruined everything image wise. We look totally inept and trending negatively in Year 2.Richie Leonard posted something similar about his commitment to UF.
Exactly. I could almost forgive a 3-4 win season in year one. This is year two and we look way worse.Tbf uf and a&m are in conpletely different places than us. Unfathomable. The year 2 regression.
What is "plain to see"? Is he really with the play sheet calling things out? I don't think I've seen this. And I do think he's let Chaney run the offense. It's plain to see that Pruitt is not letting Ansley call the plays on defense. I think this is Pruitt's main problem. This...I don’t see how people get on here and say Butch could recruit...he recruited some good wide receivers and running backs...who effing cares. These 3 position groups are that much more valuable then any other position groups on the team. It’s not even close. I always like to ask them other than Barnett can they give me some examples of Jones recruits in the trenches...all of the sudden crickets.
Naw Chief. Warrior takes the blame for two TDs yesterday. Warrior is another thread altogether. The whole team? So, JG is responsible for poor DB play all season?
I’ll be done after this, but let me make this clear, I think Chaney was the right hire. I don’t think he is free of blame so far. That’s just JMO.
He has nothing to gain by leaving mid season. He has 1 year of eligibility left regardless and he has already graduated so he will be eligible immediately next year where ever he decides to go. He will stick out the rest of the year then he leaves. It makes 0 sense for him to leave mid season rather he starts or not
That's the guy we fired before winding up with this guy.Yeah, no "name" coach is coming here. Too much risk. If Pruitt doesn't make it, we gotta hire a proven program builder even if he isn't necessarily setting the world on fire at his current job. Let him get the program back to respectability, and if he can't take the next step, then we're in better shape to get the next guy. To me that's the biggest thing and even more important than Xs and Os. Just get a guy who can build a team and a culture.
At some point do Pruitt and Rocker try something different with the DL? We are just SO ineffective at getting any pressure whatsoever. It's bad. Can they not at least try some sort of stunts or something? Seems we are running face first into men over and over again and they are having no issue blocking the front 3/4. We aren't stressing the OL at all with just 4 man presssure. We can't live off extra men all game every game.
This kind of crap is so reprehensible and stupid. Self-fulfilling prophecy. Giving us less support, less revenue, looking worse to recruits helps no one but our enemies. They love seeing this.People on Twitter are already tweeting #EmptyNeyland... Fans need to support the young players and JJ who are giving their all for Tennessee Football.
