Would any of our OL outside of Smith start for any of those teams? Nahalabama is starting 4 on defense
auburn starting fresh qb and owen pappoe
sc starting fresh qb, and jamie robinson at db
lsu starting derek stingley at cb
miss st starting fabian levett at dt
texas am fresh og kenyon green,
should i keep going?
If there's any recent silver lining it would be we have forced 8 turnovers the past 2 games. If we can keep getting turnovers, it should at least keep us in some later games.
Ethics shmethics. Ain't murdering or raping anyone ffs. Paying a kid for his labor is about as unethical as breaking an unjust law.Guess I'm in the minority but don't care about his ethics, I want to win some football games.. I'm guessing if he came and won 9 games most would stomach his ethics.
If I'm CPF I am calling behind the scenes..
This job is too hard for Urbie. He'd never risk being exposed.
USC = easiest path to playoffs with no competition and entire nationsl advertiser-media complex routing for him.
He would have to outscore winless UCLA, even at home, but how hard is that?
SC is 3-1 and coming off a top 10 win. Helton probably is going to surviveThis job is too hard for Urbie. He'd never risk being exposed.

We really need a Rick Barnes type. Cutcliffe would be good, but he's aging and not leaving Duke, IMO.Yeah, no "name" coach is coming here. Too much risk. If Pruitt doesn't make it, we gotta hire a proven program builder even if he isn't necessarily setting the world on fire at his current job. Let him get the program back to respectability, and if he can't take the next step, then we're in better shape to get the next guy. To me that's the biggest thing and even more important than Xs and Os. Just get a guy who can build a team and a culture.
I happen to believe this is probably a pretty big rebuild. Need someone the fans trust explicitly to get us through it. My mind keeps coming back to Cutcliffe.Yeah, no "name" coach is coming here.
