Pruitt and Fulmer are gonna have to sit down and evaluate the direction of this program. I’m at a loss that we can spend the amount of money we do on football for these results. I’m starting to wonder if we have players that won’t play hard for Pruitt, or is this system too complicated for these dudes to comprehend? It’s obviously a systemic issue because the whole team is a complete disaster. Why Tennessee? Why? How did this once proud traditional powerhouse become a consistent bottom dweller? The talent excuse doesn’t hold water here with losses to Chatt, and we beat the ever living crap out of BYU for three quarters. We have enough talent to be 3-1. Just inexcusable. I almost believe the only way to fix this from a financial standpoint is to bring in an old savvy HC and keep the coaching staff intact while maybe dropping the qb coach. We need a fresh set of eyes/ideas from a proven winner and steady hand. Fulmer is too old and obviously has too many responsibilities as the AD to be an option. Would Urban come on for a couple years at a decent salary and get this thing fixed? Fulmer needs to start turning over rocks right now before we end up 2-10. I’m just sad and at a loss atm. Rant over

Also, Fulmer is gonna have to step in on the qb issue. JG doesn’t need to take another snap at UT. His time as a UT QB has been a complete disaster and the dude has been the centerpiece of our 1-3 start. Literally everyone can see this and Pruitt is still talking like he’s the guy. He’s not the guy, and never will be. BM should be the starter for the rest of the year. We have 2 weeks to get him ready and create and a gameplan for him to successfully run the offense. Chaney is one of the best at this type of thing. Chaney is trying to polish a turd right now, and this turd ain’t shining.

Hard to imagine this staff wanting to give Mauer (or Shrout) their first start against UGA. That would not be setting them up for success and may actually hurt their development.

If I were Pruitt, I’d go w JG as long as possible in hopes that he figures some things out.

The big picture goal has to be to bring in a legitimate transfer QB in the off season.

Kasim Hill transferred in from Maryland but has to sit this year. I have no idea how good he's supposed to be though.

Unbelievable? I can understand not liking Pruitt because of the losing, but your not watching the games if you're denying his recruits aren't flashing. Toot has absolutely been a stand out on defense, and personally, I think Grey runs better than Chandler. So yeah, Pruitt's recruits are making an impact. Don't let your anger trap you into stupid comments.

I am pretty stoked about Maurer. Can't imagine how jacked up he was getting thrust into the game. In the swamp no less. Chaney needs to do that QB whispering we've all heard about ( I acknowledge has fallen on deaf ears up to now) and get him under control .

My prediction is the offense will rally around him. It may not be pretty at times but if it lights a fire under the offense I will be satisfied.
