A lot of their passing stats across the middle were embellished by the fact we had to send our LB’s to get any pressure. Our defensive line not being able to beat man on man kills us.

I went on a date after the game. I had to put on a fake happy face the whole time. I'm disgusted. It's one thing to lose a game, but another to be completely outcoached and have no light at the end of the tunnel. There is no hope for this team. I'm just sick dude. There is absolutely no fanbase that goes through what we have. None.

Your right...I thought I saw Taylor on one play 30 yds down the field trying to cover a receiver. Bumpass flashed and then disappeared............Defensive linemen look like they think their objective is to just run right into the O lineman and then just stand in front of them.....

I know that was a bama tactic at one point where you arm hold your man until you can see direction, run/pass, etc, then get off your man. Idk if we are doing that but thats how it feels except on passes we cant get off anyone so we just stand there tangled up. It's painful to watch. No stunts, no delays, nothing special.

I always liked what Pinkel did at mizzou with his dl with a lot of moves. His 3*s played like 5*s on the DL.

Wiiide open in the end zone for ucla. JG probably finds some way to throw that through the uprights.

It's the first time they're scored more than 14 points this year; they've gotta be pleased by that.

I haven’t given up on Pruitt and I didn’t think we would beat a top 10 team today either.

Here's the thing that bugs me about all of that... People are looking at coaches and saying 'can this guy win us a championship?' when we should be looking at coaches and saying 'can this guy get us to respectability.' We have to crawl before we can walk let alone run. Everyone looks at coaching searches as a one shot solution. It's not. We're too far down and have no one waiting in the wings to return home. Unfortunately, Johnny ain't coming home this time. We have to build up to respectability to hire a good coach.

I still don't think UF is a top 10 team. If JG wasn't a complete headcase we would've been in that game. As to Pruitt... There are so many things wrong that are completely on coaching. I'm not ready to give up completely on him but I get the feeling we're gonna be stuck with the Ole Miss version of Cutcliffe while someone else will get the better version. He's learning on the job here but I'm not sure I want to spend 6-7 years with him to find out if he can learn to be a HC instead of just a genius coordinator.
