I think Pruitt lost the locker room last year toward the end of the season and has never regained it.

Don't @ me.

I agree. Something is odd. This team doesn’t look right. Something is off. In the broadcast today, the sideline reporter witnesses a lineman raid his hand and ask “what are we doing??”... how is that possible?

The target for our next head coach should be someone who has shown sustained success at a school with low resources. Someone do the research and create a list.
Michael Leach?

Honestly despite his lack of a running game or elite defense, he’s rebuilt 2 programs and done so with limited resources.

Gary Patterson would be my first and only call. Make him a top 10 paid coach and let’s ride.

Not that it matters obviously. But that’s when he lost me. And i completely agree with you.

Players showed out for him mid season last year and then he kept talking about flipping the roster and needing to get all these new players in here.

Patterson wanted the job years ago and we passed on him... he still talks about it... he will never set foot in Knoxville unless it's to whip our ass on the field.

Holy moly. Chaney clearly schemed his TE to be wide open by 25 yards, and our QB missed him. Chaney got JJ open on a route at the goal line and it ended up with an INT.

Chaney helped start Peterman, put Brees in the league, and coached up a true freshman Fromm. It ain’t him.
Not hard to get a guy to sit in the end zone from 3 yards out. Anyone can "scheme" that. TE wide open - credit to Chaney.

But it's not about a play or two out of 70 plays, it's about the other 68 - you're missing the larger point. Just like the tv commentator said - he is not playing to our QB's strengths. He's trying to make him a 4-wide west coast guy that makes multiple progressions. That isn't JG! It's blatantly obvious he can't read 4 WR sets and over the middle well. Need to keep him in a box. Play to his limitations and play to our passing strengths - utilizing MC and JJ's height, strength, and ball skills.

I'm sure you realize these are our passing strengths as well.

Why still talk about it? I think these coaches aren’t as petty as people think. He’s probably making too much to uproot now though, sadly.
