The thing about the 3 stars is ridiculous. We are going to land guys like Baron, Hardy, Omari Thomas, and Whitehead, which are all highly ranked 4 stars.Good post. I don't follow recruiting as closely as I would like to so don't beat me for asking this. On the radio today one of the guys was saying how most of the 5* we were chasing are pretty much a no-go due to our terrible start to the season and we are just hoping to hang on to a bunch of 3*. Is this accurate or is it a sky is falling pitch in your opinion?
Thanks brother. I live down here in Chattanooga and am glad to hear Hardy appears to still be coming. I am going to make a point to go watch him their next home game. The thing about the 3 stars is ridiculous. We are going to land guys like Baron, Hardy, Omari Thomas, and Whitehead, which are all highly ranked 4 stars.
We are still in it for Smalls and Rakim Jarrett. Really in it for Jarrett. But yeah, I think losing the first 2 costed us all the momentum we had with Arik Gilbert. But these things ebb in flow. If we win tomorrow, that whole narrative can change very quickly and we can be right back in it.
I'm not convinced he'll turn it around or fail. I'm only convinced that we have to see it through. It would be a colossal mistake to fire him any time soon. Like worst mistake in program history bad. Although I'm morbidly curious to see what's the best candidate we could get interest from. We'd have to pull from the high school ranks.
No. I don't know why you can't see it.
Not to say that we're not underdogs and on the road or that beating his third ranked opponent at this early point is not asking a lot.
Give the guy the chance to get is own guys in the house. He's got one class right now.
