Chip Kelley took advantage of changes in the game rules and was ahead of the curve for years. The curve, however, has adjusted to Chip and now he's a good coach among other good coaches. Like many good coaches, he can win if his'uns are better than their'uns, but his innovations are familiar concepts to defensive coordinators and staffs now and it feels like that advantage is much less pronounced these days.
