Urban go down as the greatest coach ever if he took over the VOLS and turned it around.. He'd have to deal with playing Alabama, Georgia and his former team, though. He'd never do it. Go to UCLA where it's much easier to win.

I think this is a post agreeing with me? Thanks? Now get some sleep and sober up.

JG came out hooping and hollering for the first five minutes of the game. He had folks fooled. After that he shuts down emotionally. Meanwhile Jennings stayed hyped. That's the difference between natural leadership and somebody with a leadership certificate.

Not true. Saw him grabbing kids by shirts and chewing them and punching their shoulder pads. He was coaching very hard tonight. Whole game. Sorry. Read this as Pruitt not JG. JG SUCKS LIKE BAMA GOAT HUMPERS.

Yeah, I'm shaking my head. Unfortunately Taylor was in the wrong coverage...and Warrior missed the tackle to at least force BYU to try.

Game 1 I feel like the staff thought the players were "there" mentally, but obviously we saw what happened.
Game 2 fire was lit, everyone playing hard and for the first time....the first game I can say it really came down to how badly JG played.

Chaney isn't stupid, if he sees the decision making that's happening he's going to call plays around it. I'm sure Pruitt didn't want to chance JG throwing a pick either, hell anyone on that staff saw those bad passes. BYU when they -knew- it was a run was able to hold us just enough to prevent first downs...so because of JG's inability to make the right reads and move the chains enough to keep the defense honest Chaney & Pruitt altered the playcalling offensively and one bad mistake on one play on defense ruined an otherwise solid effort.
Pruitt was up in JG's face several times. Chaney and Pruitt have to know how bad he is.

Sorry. Read that as Pruitt. Not JG. JG sucks. Flipped him off after the game.

UCLA can't afford to fire Kelly and Hire Urban, USC would be more likely.

Still think it’ll be Tee or Fulmer as the replacement. If they have to pay the buyout for Pruitt they won’t want to 1) hire an outside coach and pay the buyout at his school and 2) pay the buyout for the current staff.

Tee becomes HC, keep Chaney at all costs, then let the rest of the staff know you aren’t firing them. Many of them will take other jobs and you replace them how you see fit.

I don’t think this makes us any more successful than the trajectory with Pruitt, necessarily. But it’ll probably be the move with the least pain.
I'll probably get off this crazy train if Fulmer self-appointed himself as coach.

Was out all evening so I hid the scores and watched the replay just now.

Devastated. Played with heart we didn’t see last week, finally got some pass rush, OL was looking a bit better, than everything fell apart at the end.

JG can’t get us in the end zone. Openings fill too quickly and he can’t make the reads fast enough to be a threat inside the 20. Only hope is to run that stretch zone that was working or toss up a fade to 1 or 15.

What the heck is going on with the OL rotations. First unit of the night looked great. Let em go.

Crouch was explosive on the edge a couple times, Gray is absolutely electric, and Burrell is not ready to start. Need 20 back pronto.

Don’t even know what else to say. I think this team with a legit QB could actually be good. Just heartbreaking to lose like that.

The atmosphere was awesome, the crowd was into the game and pretty loud. We played to not lose (no QB keeper at the 2 after the PI, not kicking the field goal and going for it on 4th down) and you almost always lose when you try not to.
