If JG turns all the way toward the other side of the field and adjusts his read...sack and no points. Given pressure was already in his face, he probably should have just thrown it away. Inexplicable throw. Sucks but that's what happens with busted blocks. They only bring 4 and #64 gets blown by.

Vast majority of these kids want the spotlight and ESPN Gameday atmosphere. THEIR point of college. Chartered flights vs buses. Hilton hotels vs Days Inn. And let’s not be naive...BOOSTERS from Clemson vs Grambling have a enormously different pocket depth. And I was born in Chattanooga in 1969...so preshate the history lesson but I lived it.Visibility today is much different than visibility 50 years ago. If you are a good player, you will get noticed and get drafted. With the way social media and information is shared, a good player at any level will get recognized. Playing in front of 100K crowds is not really putting any "money" in the student-athletes pocket. It is a mindset of being able to compete against the best that draws most athletes to larger schools. Black Americans were not allowed to attend southern colleges until the 50's - 60's. But now some of those same southern schools clamor for the Black American athlete. So she raises a valid question as to would those athletes be better off at HBCU's. Better off is subjective. The main point of going to college is to grow and mature and be a productive member of society when you leave.
As a QB if you feel pressure leave the pocket, scramble extend the play do something.its part of your job and that’s where the issue starts.just don’t force the damn thing which is what he did.if I’m not mistaken that’s Calloway in the corner which is a clear favorite target of his.i highly doubt it was his “first” check.JG just knew where he was and looked which would justify a double coverage on Calloway and nobody else.![]()
I remember when Craig was placed on scholarship...VQ mentioned it. They were likely mired in one upping each other in OC search gold.If he has been placed on scholarship, the UT admin has not publisized it. Remember they placed the TE (Craig) on scholarship last year and it was not publisized. The media eventually found out about Craig's scholarship.
This is the start of Doyle's 3rd year on campus so I believe he can be placed on scholarship without counting against any of the yearly 25 counters. SO.. I'm guessing he may already have been placed on scholarship this Fall and the media has not found out yet.
yeah, this. that's what i don't get.
Was just hanging out in an FBO on the west coast getting ready to leave and man there must have been 10-15 BYU folks getting ready to head to Knox. Spoke to them for a little bit and I got the sense BYU fans are coming in droves this weekend.
You’re wrong. Go watch the play in full speed. It’s a spacing route. That Lb is preoccupied by DWA. JJ quickly turns around into his space and is wide open when considering the tight windows you get in the red zone. It’s a 5 yard pass. If throw in any sort of timing it’s an easy 6.Just pick another play if you want to sound like you know what your are talking about. That picture you posted shows a defender in clear range to jump a throw to JJ with nothing but 6 pts ahead of the defender.
