Realistically how many years do y'all think it'll take before we are back in Atlanta for the SEC Championship?

I'll say 5 minimum barring UGA death penalty
i have said several times get to the end of year 4 and see what we got.

i'd probably adjust that to year 5....might adjust it again depending on how the rest of the season goes....good or bad....lol.

Anywho, WGWTFA this Saturday?

That's impossible to answer right now. After Saturday, it's hard to know where this team is. If we come out and blast BYU on Saturday, then maybe last week was a fluke. But doesn't feel that way right now. I think we have a lot farther to go than many of us, including myself, believed before the season. I thought we would have a chance to compete for the east in 2020. Not a chance. This roster needs to be completely rebuilt and at this point, he has only put together one recruiting class. Next year we'll still be playing freshmen and sophomores all over the field because the upper class talent is very low.

And, after Saturday, we don't even know if Pruitt is a capable head coach yet. He has a lot to prove. And if this season goes the way it potentially could now and they fire him this year, that'll put us even further behind.
I can't say this enough. This roster is depleted and many of the upperclassmen are just taking up spots. You can only blame the coaches so much, but the total lack of effort out of the players is ridiculous. When you have almost every VFL coming down on the players maybe that should be a hint for some of the chicken littles around here.

Bass is right, we are in a position were will have to play true freshmen for the next 2 seasons after this one. There is no way around it at this point. Folks need to realize this is a total rebuild job and its going to take more time than many of y'all want to give.

He needs to cool it with that sh**. Do it all you want in the complex or on the practice field, but doing it publicly comes off as excuse making and petty.

It’s obvious at this point his motivation tactics aren’t getting it done. Which is kind of bizarre honestly. At least for the first year or two players will usually buy in and run through a wall for a coach. They did for kiffin, Dooley, and butch. At least for the most part.
That's because they are Bitch's boys to the core...just like you..

This is true. There is plenty of things to criticize the coaching about. Swain and others have criticized the coaching. the confusion on defense, the taking Chandler and Henry out, the lack of timeouts that's on coaching. Pruitt is definitely still learning on the job. No doubt. And he has said as much and taken the blame for it. But effort? Thats on the players. Going out to party after the game, that's on the players. Doing the floss as we were getting beaten down by Vandy last year, that's the players. And they need to be held accountable for it. I hope Pruitt's comments last night means that he will not play those guys going forward.

I say, since we don't really have anything to compete for since we have no chance at winning the east, we should do a total youth movement and play for the future. With the exception of key upperclassmen, play the young guys and prepare for next year. Thats jmo

“Yo, wut, listen up

Is it too much to ask to be average
Some of this ridicule is just savage
Tired of being embarrassed every year
Watching a team that gives in to fear

Wish they would take some pride
Show some fire in their eyes
We do have a few dogs just so you know
At least Jauan Jennings and Henry To’oto’o

But a few is not enough
Need some other guys to step up
Show us that they really care
Make the Mormons pee in their special underwear”

Word up

UHHHHH..................... PROPS. SEND TO ATLVOL TO PASS TO THE TEAM

And as we’ve seen, this job opening does not command a proven head coach. Some combination of lack of money and pressure makes those guys stay away.
I'm sorry but as I was saying the other day, I don't believe in the "UT admin" being an actual person that's never fired.

We have a different AD, president, assistant AD, chancellor and so on. We had a type running things and we've changed that personality type. Very late in the game last go around but *IF* it comes up again and we want a name coach, I like our chances a lot better now.

I think reality is starting to set in that this build is way bigger than we thought. Some just don't want to admit it yet or trying to pin other things that they could do to stop the bleeding (fire Pruitt, Fulmer/Alvarez takeover, etc.). Just can't do that anymore.

I totally agree but our fans will absolutely go to war to get Pruitt fired if that happens. We are our own worse enemy when it comes to stuff like that.

He's set up in a losing situation with either direction he goes and it SUCKS. We'll be looking for a new coach in 2 years and this class will fall apart if the fans don't fn chill out.

Firing Pruitt would be a disaster. You just can't do that unless we go like 3-9 or something and everything falls apart. We need stability. Better to help him with whatever he needs than to start over.

not for nothing, but this is something i've been saying for a while..........so i agree.

all the year 2/year 3 talk...never held water to me. used to burn me up to hear/see the comparison to all the coaches that did something great in year 2.....so if we didn't, pruitt sucks.

doesn't mean losing to GSU is on the table........ever............but it did most certainly make the rebuild issue a reality.

Watching the game last night and seeing the guys jogging around the field during the play makes me sick
