The issue is you are delaying the inevitable if you see the lack of recruiting. Best make decision now because the long term is already made without talent. Creates an even worse culture in program in the long run.

If we go 5-7 or worse then fire the Bama Gump and promote Tee and give him a shot. I think PF has had this as a backup plan just in case.

Wanya playing guard in a game or in practice is literally a lack of every leadership principle. Wanya needs to perfect the left tackle position everyday. Everyday he needs to focus on left tackle, nothing else. He needs to Master it. Instead you insert confusion and doubt to an 18 year old. Sounds like a losing formula. Lack of leadership top down.

Agree. This is my biggest knock on our staff practice wise. Why the hell are we shuffling OL positions (not sides) a week from the game. You have tackles and guards. Keep them there.

Another thing when you’re approaching the season. Pick 5 the 5 you feel best and go with it for at least a couple weeks before the opener. Only change if an injury occurs.

We showed up for a scrimmage to play a lot of guys and get them reps. Ga St. showed up to beat our ass. I literally saw 3rd team guys in the game in the first half while we were in a close game You wanna play a lot of guys? Put them away early. Announcing to the world that youre gonna play a lot of guys before you even kick off is disrespecting your opponent. They took it as such and promptly kicked our ass in Neyland while mockingly singing Rocky Top. Good for them.

My 8 yo daughter asked me this very question while walking out of the stadium. All I could say is I have no idea why. She replied "maybe they had a lot left over". She had no clue how right she is but I love her innocence because she also has no clue how many fireworks they are going to have left over this year.
