I went to bed at halftime so I did not see most of the scoring. Their QB, Wilson, looked pretty rusty and if he doesn't improve, our defense should control the game. They appeared to have one running back who looked pretty good. I did not see any of the final stats, but both teams looked sloppy in the first half. I think we win because I think our offense will be better than Utah's. I think we will be favored by about 12 and we should cover the spread.
I went to bed also. However I think their defense may be "faster than we are giving them credit for. Also their short to medium range passing game looks pretty good to me and should be more accurate by the time they get to town. Could be a real tough game.
Yup, that RB Moss (I think) is legit good and could play in any conf as well as the NFL. Their defense is good as well. Probably a couple of high draft picks. There is a reason they are a dark horse to make the playoffs. I would much rather be playing BYU than Utah next week no doubt
This is why I can't look at BYU as a "bad/horrible/trash" team that we'll mop the field with. Utah is a fine team. They'd give any team in the country some problems. I suspect it was more a case of how good Utah is vs how bad BYU looked. Take the cougs lightly and we'll grab an L. It's certainly a game we can and really need to win, but UT had better show up and play lights out.
UH...you do know there's a football game that has to be played and won BEFORE BYU comes to town don't you..????
Given our program's recent history, I'm going to recommend takin'em one-at-a-time. We have to beat Georgia State before anyone on this forum needs to be worrying about "how many TDs we're going to beat BYU by".
