Watched that entire game. I was disappointed in that offensive line of Miami. That QB played pretty well considering how often his line put him in a terrible situation.

If they weren't straight up missing their blocks, they would jump or not get set and cause a delay or hold. Enos not chipping the edge rusher to help EITHER of his Freshmen tackles was a mistake as well.

Enos is so bad. Glad we didn't get duped into hiring that guy. Guy took a Butch offense scoring 34 ppg and in 2 years had them at 22 ppg. Never in 5 years could he even break over 28.8 ppg playin Tiddly Winks in the MAC.

Maybe I'm just ignorant, and granted social media these days with all the PC stuff has amplified things.
But how in the hell can you punish a kid for something another kid heard him say, but didn't see him say? Am I dumb or is that not obviously hearsay and easily dismissed?

UT is going to hand down something because he damaged property and cops were called, but the rest just seems like a whole lot BS smoke.

Nobody else heard it either. Just because someone is in a position of authority doesn't mean they are above making a mistake. Zero other people heard anything like that statement being bandied about by this one "RA". The most likely scenario is that the "RA" was eavesdropping and misheard a statement. Then instead of verifying what they heard, they jumped to conclusions and now there is a big pile of poo to sort through and find what really happened.

I don't disagree about the possibility of the RA making a mistake. He did not see the incident and supposedly just reported it was BT from voice, which should not hold up, but still the witness being an RA should carry more weight with UT folks who decide what happens to BT.

That being said, I have had a whole range of RA's at my time at UT. One was very well respected by most and a really good RA. But the same guy hit a rough patch when he longtime girl broke up with him and started drinking more and he started just screwing up and got fired. On the other hand, UT put a guy that no one respected in the RA role in my dorm and he was terrible at his job and, ironically, far worse than the first guy at guiding other students even during his rough patch.

I don't see the Martinez experiment in Miami working out. They're gonna have to decide that they need to stop d@##ing around and go buy a ball coach that everyone else wants instead of looking for sales at the thrift store.

If they ever get someone down there who has recruiting connections and can coach ball, they'll be back fast.

I was about to rebuttal about Diaz and his defensive prowess, then checked his wikipedia page. Just read the intro before it gets edited 😂

It's circumstantial. Circumstantial evidence is evidence, but it doe seem to be a stretch if that witness is truthful and says that he/she didn't see the conversation.

It is technically hearsay, but it falls within an exception to the hearsay rules (why folks go to law school) and would be let in.

Chizzle, I’m pretty positive it was scout team and they was working with them on routes and plays to use against first team 🤦🏻‍♂️ Also, that black jersey is a QB.6935D792-6037-4613-BDDD-6F8875632328.jpeg

In case it does:

"Manuel Alberto Diaz II “Lil Manny” is an American college football coach who is the current head coach at the University of Miami. As a head coach, he has never won an actual college football game on a full size 100-yard field - the exact opposite of being undefeated."

So Larry (LWSVOL) popped back up on 247 and I asked him his season prediction.

"I think we are a 5-7 squad. Too many question marks in too many spots. Lack experience and talent in too many places. The LOS is just not up to SEC standards and will be tough to over come."

God. We could have a roster like Bama's, and he'd say we're a 6-6 team.
