One thing that VQ said in the podcast was one of the people who made the statement was an RA. A lot harder for UT to discount a story from someone they put into a position of leadership. That being said, the RA apparently did not see and only heard the shooting statement. This should not be the baseline for cases where a student threatens to shoot up a school, because he didn't ever say anything like it. Some random, probably tipsy, student overheard the argument he was having with his girlfriend, thought they heard something, and ran to get their jump to conclusions mat. This is a case of one person mishearing something that wasn't their business anyway and then taking a big dump and calling it their statement to the police.
I totally agree with this ..It needs to be number 2 or something else entirely because what I get from number 1 is that if I don't like someone all I have to do is say they threatened to shoot up the school and anyone who doesn't think there are college kids who will do that to someone they dislike is crazy.
We saw that happen in real time too.I totally agree with this ..
However, this is very similar to the "Letter" from the Obama administration sent to public colleges about how to handle sexual assault cases where the accused basically had no legal process to remain in school. How many disgruntled girlfriends could claim their x raped them just to get back at them?
Will do.Heavy heart tonight fellas! My daughters half brother committed suicide over the weekend. He was 20 and in the Air Force. There wasn’t any signs of any thing, and came out of no where. He was a good kid. Had done a lot of farm work for me while he was in high school. If y’all could say a prayer for her and her mother’s family, I’d appreciate it!
Lots of assumptions here. Witness was drunk? Misheard? You know how?
Not saying you aren't completely correct or incorrect. Just accepting our ignorance here. Assumptions just create an illusory narrative which has no basis in evidence. We'll see if witnesses keep, corroborate, or abandon account.

Enos can look in the mirror for why they lost that game.Watched that entire game. I was disappointed in that offensive line of Miami. That QB played pretty well considering how often his line put him in a terrible situation.
If they weren't straight up missing their blocks, they would jump or not get set and cause a delay or hold. Enos not chipping the edge rusher to help EITHER of his Freshmen tackles was a mistake as well.
Nobody else heard it either. Just because someone is in a position of authority doesn't mean they are above making a mistake. Zero other people heard anything like that statement being bandied about by this one "RA". The most likely scenario is that the "RA" was eavesdropping and misheard a statement. Then instead of verifying what they heard, they jumped to conclusions and now there is a big pile of poo to sort through and find what really happened.
I don't see the Martinez experiment in Miami working out. They're gonna have to decide that they need to stop d@##ing around and go buy a ball coach that everyone else wants instead of looking for sales at the thrift store.
If they ever get someone down there who has recruiting connections and can coach ball, they'll be back fast.
