I have to be in Florence, KY for work this week and am thinking about making the trek down Saturday...is it wrong to go to a game and pre-game / tailgate alone?
I go by myself, routinely. I enjoy going with other people, too, but it's nice to go on your schedule, do what you want, eat where you want, etc.

This may have already been discussed but I can’t get the what i consider to be excessive ridiculous celebrations with props of Miami on Saturday out of my head

What happen to the days of making a big play in a game being celebrated spontaneously on the field with teammates and the reward of how it affects the game being enough?

I just don’t think all those damn props and look at me sideline antics is what college football should be about. JMO

Well, it's actually a genius idea. Celebrating with the team on the sideline = less likely to be a penalty.

Celebrating on the field spontaneously alone or with the team = more likely to be a penalty. So if you create a prop that pulls the team off the field quickly to celebrate a big play it's less likely to end up costing you penalty yardage.

DHgate just sold everyone’s personal info on the dark web.
My information has been subject to a handful of data breaches on government sites. Good thing they collect all that info on us and then store it en mass. I’m so shocked that a) the government would NEED so much of my personal info, and b) the government would be so utterly inept at protecting said information. All that to say, I’m not worried about it.

We went through this in the spring. I think people/media just like to over-react.

In our current culture we feel the need to pick a side within 30 seconds of hearing something. It's wild how a short news story can create so much dialogue. The internet creates a semi-alternate reality when very few people know what actually happens. I dont know how anyone can have a stance 1 way or another with what has been reported.

I was married to a stripper, she stabbed me once, had the cops out a few times so yeah I know a bit about it.

I also wasn't a freshman All American about to start the season. He has a bit more on the line than I did. As Uncle Ben would say "great power..."

Man, it feels like the local media is quick to judge on Bryce
TBH, a lot of us have been, too. I agree it sounds like much ado about nothing, but everyone saying he should just run stairs without having all the facts is wrong, too. I really hope it's not much, as it seems to be. But, let's also not assume it's not nothing until it really is not nothing.

Does anyone know if he owns a gun? Pretty hard to show intent if he doesn't own a gun..

If he had possession of a firearm or a history of making threats, he would have been dismissed. The police were in his apartment and would have run a check. He clearly has anger issues and his best chance for getting help controlling that is to stay with the program.

Get 'em Troy!!!

I have no issue with Andrew Luck retiring, I don't agree with his timing of things. Probably could have worked something out (and may have for all we know) behind the scenes with the team so they could pursue stronger QB options in free agency. Which I think they may still have time since most teams got large cuts still to come.

I'm not sure when is the "best" time to retire, I know certain incentives exist for player contracts to remain on the roster past certain dates. All well, I just hope he stays retired, doesn't suddenly Brett Favre it up once he's fully healthy in a year or two. Would like to just see Luck go into coaching if he still has fire for the game.

Because he didn't do anything other than argue with his long time girlfriend and break a gate. He didn't physically harm her, he didn't flash a gun, he didn't steal anything. He argued with his girlfriend and said some things he shouldn't have. He'll miss a game or two, do some community service, fix the gate, learn some lessons and be back ready to stomp UF.

I’m not arguing the harmlessness of it. I mean what has the University and police departments, shoot maybe even the TBI, done to make you think this will be swift????

IMO what he’s been through is punitive enough.

Stewart #33 in white with the black outline on the numbers would be my only want in a jersey at this point.

Wouldn't mind having an Inky Johnson as well
