I find it funny that people haven’t asked what she said to him that got him to that point of anger.

Words do cut like knives and some things that are said can trigger you to a point you didn’t know you could get to.

I can’t imagine she was saying anything good to him if she thought he was cheating on her.....

I'm so fired up. Can't wait to watch this team and how they handle adversity this fall. I think the mindset, the toughness that Pruitt desires from his teams, will start to show this fall. I'll be surprised if this team gets pushed around by anyone. Don't foresee any blowouts. And games like UF, UGA and USC are going to be scrappy who wants it more type of slugfests.

not related to football, BT should probably sit until this thing is figured out. initial reaction out there isn't good, and as with most cases, there's a lot of assumptions being made. so i'll defer to erring on the side of caution. obviously you can't condone the behavior, but it could have been soooooo much worse. i think ultimatley he serves his suspension, and this gets resolved and finds his way back on the field.

football related.......really glad we have Warren Burrell. he'll get some much needed live game reps, and this will help his development....

siap, while i want BT and AT out there, if there's one position i'm not overly concerned about it's the back 4-5.

Maybe she cheated and pissed him off. I know that would send me off the edge. Probably some holes in the wall and broken shiz too.

Because he didn't do anything other than argue with his long time girlfriend and break a gate. He didn't physically harm her, he didn't flash a gun, he didn't steal anything. He argued with his girlfriend and said some things he shouldn't have. He'll miss a game or two, do some community service, fix the gate, learn some lessons and be back ready to stomp UF.

With today's environment, BT's fate will come down to the school's internal investigation when they interview the witnesses. They will ask them if they fear that BT may actually be a danger to them or other students if he remains on campus. Their answers to this question will determine if BT remains at UT.

I was married to a stripper, she stabbed me once, had the cops out a few times so yeah I know a bit about it.

I also wasn't a freshman All American about to start the season. He has a bit more on the line than I did. As Uncle Ben would say "great power..."

So basically unless someone has it on video that "shoot up the school" threat will be nothing honestly. Most places require written statement and witnesses before it can really be pushed.

What this will do though is (hopefully) make not just Bryce but the rest of these young men realize that they aren't above the law and are actually watched far closer than your average student.


I think Pruitt's response is the right one completely, I'm glad he made it very firm and very immediate too. Set the standard high and your players will elevate to it. Some young and hungry secondary players are going to work their tail off now that a clear spot has opened up.

If she was a scorned woman trying to hurt him, she probably said..."So and so has a bigger package than you anyway. Good luck on finding someone that wants that little cocktail wennie."

Of course BT's actions were irresponsible and ill-advised. It was irresponsible and ill-advised for Bill Norton to drink and drive, too. Both hurt themselves and their teams. Norton could have hurt a lot of people weaving all over the road.

Teenagers are immature and make bad decisions. Get them the help they need and put them on the right path.

This may have already been discussed but I can’t get the what i consider to be excessive ridiculous celebrations with props of Miami on Saturday out of my head

What happen to the days of making a big play in a game being celebrated spontaneously on the field with teammates and the reward of how it affects the game being enough?

I just don’t think all those damn props and look at me sideline antics is what college football should be about. JMO

We went through this in the spring. I think people/media just like to over-react.

While the Tennessee Volunteers were away from spring practices over spring break, redshirt junior DB Kenneth George Jr. was arrested.

The charge was pretty serious, as George is facing charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, resisting an officer without violence and disorderly conduct.

On Tuesday, coach Jeremy Pruitt met with the media and said that George has been suspended from the program indefinitely as the school gathers more info.

“We had an incident over spring break with Kenneth George Jr. and he has been suspended indefinitely from the team until we gather more information and let it run its course,” Pruitt said on Tuesday. “We don’t tolerate behavior like that and we are going to support all law enforcement that we come in contact with. We want our kids to do the right thing and we will respect the law. At the same time, we are going to support Kenneth through this and we will see where it goes.”

Based on the seriousness of the charges, if any of them stick, George likely will never suit up for the Vols again.

People act like BT killed someone or beat a female or had a DUI. He got emotional with someone that he's been in a relationship with for awhile. In my experience, HS relationships don't flourish once you get to adulthood.
