Don't know, just going by Pruitt. He sounded a little down on the the lines but was very upbeat overall. Guy was even joking around on more than one occasion.

Tbh, being a WVLT special, I went in like "meh, I'll watch cause it's TN stuff".. but once Pruitt's segment started, I ended up more interested than any of the practice pressers. He wasn't feeling the mood of just one day.
There's something about Pruitt acting so relaxed that makes me smile.
There is a quiet confidence it seems.

I still think 7-5 is probably still where I land. But yeah, that quiet confidence has me hopeful for more.

The fact that they should've lost accreditation was exactly the reason the NCAA didn't want to touch it. UNC is a prestige school and their fraud was just too big. Collapsing a prestige school isn't something the NCAA wants or is designed to do. UNC in that situation was like the big banks a few years ago -- too much was on the line (a serious blow to the entire university not just a sport in their Atheletic Dept.). The scandal's potential consequences made UNC "too big too fail/prosecute" for the NCAA.

It also showed that the NCAA is sorely lacking in any regulatory power when the university itself rather than just the AD or a team within it is actively involved in a sports related scandal.
Which is a load of horsecrap...If it was us, they would have Thanos snapped us into oblivion.

Agree 7-5 makes the most sense.
But going 8-4 solely on the "hell yeah" factor.

Realists: I promise my emotional well being will be just fine if we fall short of that goal. You're saving of me, from myself, is not needed.
Carry on.

The Cam Newton thing couldn't have been any different because of a big can of worms issue. If the donation to Daddy Newton was illegal, what about all the donations to the Tebow missionary fund?
My reference was to the fact that the reason Auburn skated was because Cam's dad asked for money instead of agreed to accept it. Total BS loophole.

imo, UNC's was worse. With Mizzou and State it was (probably) a rogue student and a handful of athletes cheating. I know in the Miss State case, when they figured it out they immediately self-reported and fired the student.

At UNC, the school itself set up a system of structured cheating. That should have lost the school its accreditation. That's a wholesale, administrative academic violation.
Somebody gets it. Thank you.

I think the key game is Miss St. If we go 3-0 prior to Florida, this game lies in the midst of a 5 game gauntlet of UF, UGA, MISS ST, BAMA and USCe....this game is a MUST, imo...

It's so hard to call any game THE game.

But... Assume we lose the three everyone thinks we'll lose .... It does look like you at least have to split USCe/MSU.

Cause hardly anyone thinks we can beat Mizzou either.

Split those two games and 7-5 looks good. Win both and 8-4 looks doable
