I just find it hilarious that posters rave about having a “real football coach” just because he works with individuals during practice. Contrary to popular belief Every HC in the land does that even ole Butch


Now I sure am hopeful ours does it better than everyone else. There is reason to believe he does

From the quotes it doesn't sound like it. Sounds like precautions in the last week of camp for a guy that by all accounts has the defense down as much as anyone and probably doesn't need camp reps as much.

I actually agree with your premise.

However, I do think Pruitt and Butch are different in that Pruitt could probably do this with guys at any level of the defense and spots on offense. Butch, OTOH, basically only ever did this with WRs and STs.

Two things struck me about that clip.

First, it’s criminal how they were basically setup to fail under the butch regime. It wasn’t explicitly stated, but the statement about having to block Jonathan Allen at 250lbs says a lot.

Second, there was no cheerleading or cliches or bravado with his answers. He was calm and monotone, almost factual at how disappointed and pissed off the whole unit is. They don’t realize, they KNOW excuses are over and it’s time to put up or shut up. I take this as the perfect kind of confidence.

Really excited and hope this OL silences all naysayers this year.

UF/Miami game could get interesting. Thinking about putting some money on the under (@ 47 total), as both teams have mediocre offenses and solid front 7's.

Not gonna touch the spread, but I think Florida wins by a TD+... go 'Canes though

I don’t think he’s going to play either but I think losing any of those 3 drops us down a win. 2 wins for JG

To me taylor could be replaced more easily than another DT
