First story published 3.5 years ago and The Athletic now has 600k subs. Projected to hit 1m by year end. That's $64m a year in revenue. Dang. Simple concept - exceptional execution.
Can't remember where I heard it, maybe Clay Travis, but their overheard is pretty substantial, especially with the big names that they've hired to write for them. They're going to need those numbers to increase, and I hope that they do.

The Athletic is the best that sports journalism has to offer.

I’ll say this again not meant towards anyone here but šŸ™„šŸ™„ If AS was already ruled ineligible they could not keep that under a blanket. Many analyst and reporters have access to the actual portal. I just see so many uneducated post about it.

I had a little bit of a problem with Downey's interpretation of Sherlock. He kind of made Sherlock to be the kind of bumbling, almost spastic character which did not fit my own impression of him at all. I guess my own view of the Sherlock character is more along the lines of the way Basile Rathbone portrayed him.lol
I loved RDJs manic drug addict take on Sherlock...The old one was very boring to me.

Here’s some quick observations from practice No. 17.

Once again, Jim Chaney and Will Friend split OL coaching duties during both periods we were out there. Chaney was with the tackles, while Friend took the guards and centers. Most notably, Jahmir Johnson and Marcus Tatum worked in tandem, with Wanya Morris and Darnell Wright going after them. As we were leaving the field, Johnson took the initial reps as the first-team left tackle again, too. During sled work, both Chaney and Friend were in a foul mood, constantly harping on better effort or technique with a slew of fun four-letter words.

Tennessee continues to alternate the backup quarterbacks and today was Brian Maurer’s day to get the No. 2 reps. Both in work with the tailbacks and routes on air, No. 18 took every snap after starter Jarrett Guarantano. During routes on air, tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson ran routes from the slot. He did the same thing Tuesday and was the only tight end to participate. While with the rest of his unit working on blocking drills, DWA was always paired with Austin Pope.

Jeremy Pruitt wasn’t with the cornerbacks until late in period three Wednesday, as Tennessee’s head coach spent a full session individually coaching freshman Elijah Simmons and junior college transfer Savion Williams. Pruitt had the two newcomers on the sled really focusing on explosion, punch and footwork.

At linebacker, Daniel Bituli was absent as the senior continues to battle a sore knee. With Bituli gone, Henry To’oto’o and Will Ignont took at first-team reps. Shanon Reid, who appeared to tweak something in his leg but continued to practice, and JJ Peterson were with the 2s. For the second straight day, Latrell Bumphus, Darel Middleton and John Mincey were with Chris Rumph’s OLB unit. When we were leaving the field, though, Middleton joined Aubrey Solomon and Greg Emerson as part of the first-team DL. Also, freshman outside linebacker Roman Harrison was back at practice Wednesday.

Defensive lineman Kurott Garland was back walking/running laps in the indoor facility Wednesday, like he was all spring.

Love seeing it. Just cannot even imagine Butch ever doing something like this.
Butch: okay, you get the football and you keep running around until you score a touchdown. Ignore those receivers downfield, just run.
A51: Coach, we’re....
Butch: Let me tell you about Josh Dobbs. He could run. Run like the wind. Threw it too much for my taste.
Etc.

I have a slight problem with that in the in the books Sherlock was an opium addict not cocaine addict.
Reverse is true.

He uses cocaine, which he injects in a seven-percent solution with a syringe kept in a Morocco leather case. Although Holmes also dabbles in morphine, he expresses strong disapproval when he visits an opium den; both drugs were legal in 19th-century England.
