I commented about this the other day. Ainge said something like for the first time since fulmer that we actually “look the part”. That whole take is just stupid
Ainge is going to go with whatever sounds the best for sure. Unless he meant as a whole, our former teams were a bit top heavy at times.

If I were a football coach I would not want a bunch of people sitting around recording every mistake a player I am trying to coach makes especially freshmen just so they could then go publish it. I would not want the fans or other teams to have access to that. When you have a veteran team probably more access, but right now what do you have to gain?

I just don't get the constant digs at the program. They don't have to like or support the program to be more balanced in their reporting. It would actually be self-serving, since it would probably net them a larger following and more access. And yes, Adams should retire-- several years ago. He's so sour he's practically pickled by now.
I personally think that they are doing everything they can to quash the appearance of bias for their team to the point that they fall all over themselves trying to point out negative stuff to "prove" that they are just neutral observers.

Or any weakness. If you're gonna spend extra time working on one that particular day, you don't want to broadcast that issue.
If BYU doesn't "bring it" Fl is going to have nothing on us other than the widely known lines.

Yeah, not sure why anyone would think that would be a good thing.

I have DISH. I have no CBS (Atlanta) or Fox Sports South. I am under contract. I can't afford to go buy a bunch of extra stations so I can watch my games. Also, live in rural Georgia area so antenna is not an option.

I'm just hoping these negotiations don't go the way the one with HBO did.

DirecTV and CBS was at odds here in the Dallas market and we lost CBS for about two weeks. They'll get it done. Money is money and they both love money :):):):)

My thing on CP is he never gets grouped in with any of the great WRs that played here when people talk of all time teams and best ever etc. just bc he played for one year and was on a crappy team. Not saying people don’t think he’s good or whatever but you could honestly make the case he is the most explosive player to ever play here.

CP wasn't really a great WR here. He was something entirely different. He was an amazing playmaker but in hindsight he was (and still is) a guy you try to get the ball to but doing so is far more unorthodox than it should be because he's not a true WR or RB. He's not the kind of guy that will run a route and always be there when the QB looks downfield. Instead, the QB has to find him on the field and deliver (Bray was incredibly good at that when they played together but not everyone is).

That said, I've never met any UT fan that didn't think CP was amazing.

The Friend/Chaney thing is another reason they probably don't like them there.
Still don't know if WF was standing there with his head down or if he was working with an individual or something.
Yes, taking something like an OC working with the worst group on offense and turning it into something more than it probably was knowing our fans would eat that up, would really make me want to take away what little I gave them. I'm sure Fulmer is 100% behind him doing this.

College football coaches are a bunch of dorks about this. It’s football practice, not nuclear holocaust prep.
The media members are a bunch of dorks reporting on something they know little about. Take every single thing reported in the last decade and notice that it is wrong significantly more often than not. Who cares if they are shut out of practice. They are worthless mouth breathers anyways.

Fork DirectTV. I couldn't believe there was a company worse than Comcast until I signed a 2-year contract with Direct. Pretty much every thing the sales rep said was a lie. I walked away after about 6 months of crap service and even worse customer service.

I feel sorry for Tee Martin honestly that man won a championship for the university and still gets no love lol Peyton’s roster or not peyton couldn’t do it himself..He never beat Florida lost to Memphis and never won a natty👀 One of the best all time Qb’s to attend the University..YES! But Number 1 overall?..No🤷🏽‍♂️ I’m definitely prepared to get flamed into banned dispensary🔥😂😂👏🏽

Well it's subjective, you put Peyton wherever you want on your list. I didn't even number them, just that's the top 5 to me.

Adams, yeah, but Simonton isn’t THAT bad. Given how things have gone during his time working the beat in Knoxville, his skepticism isn’t exactly unwarranted.

If I was in front of you, I might smack you with a rolled up newspaper...

There is no known universe where Clausen, Dobbs, OR Tee is better than Heath F'ing Shuler.

Maybe you're too young. Maybe it's because he left his Junior year, like a dweeb. Maybe it's because Peyton overshadows virtually everything. I don't know.

But we're talking about a QB who finished second in the Heisman his Junior year and would have been the odds on favorite to win the Heisman, on a team that would have likely been a major contender for the national championship, during his senior year, if he hadn't left and BEEN DRAFTED THIRD OVERALL IN THE NFL DRAFT.

Good Lord, y'all...Condredge Holloway is arguably better than Tee and Casey....

Heath had one great season, didn't win a conference OR national championship, was 1-1 in bowl games and finished with less than 20 wins in his time here.

Either way it's a subjective list, you're welcome to have whoever you want in your top 5.
