Horrors of being a parent...what you can’t control. All of us would take on the worst medical condition in the world in an even trade for our kids. The stories of those left behind are never included in the news.

Any player that starts that many games at MLB is gonna get stats. Still doesn’t mean they are that good.

Jakob Johnson just filled right in, huh? Many of us didn’t know just how good he was until he wasn’t on the field.

I just can’t see 6-6 or 5-7. Last year’s team would have won 6 games we have on the slate this time around. IMO if you’re saying 6-6 or less you don’t think this team will have made any progress.

I’m at 6-6 because I think JG probably misses time with an injury and I don’t trust QB depth. I think JG is at risk because the OL still isn’t great and JG has missed some time with an injury every year he’s been here (and most UT QBs have over the last 15 years). I also think DL will struggle with the run because they are all new and inexperienced.

This season just has a 2011 feel to it to me. A couple of key injuries away from being a slog.

But I can see the arguments for us being better than that, especially if we stay healthy. I do think 9-3 is in the realm of possibility if we catch breaks along the way. The schedule is very favorable.

I can't predict a record because it all hinges on the health of JG. If he stays healthy, we could win up to 9 (provided we get a favorable bowl match up).

But if he gets injured in the middle of the season, we might not win a game while he's out.

Auburn could be in for a tough year. Starting with Oregon, LSU road, A&M road, Florida road. Plus Georgia and Bama.

Who is making their schedules? Didn't they start with Washington last year then have to turn around and play LSU?

Dobbs was a great athlete playing QB. Could not throw the football with any consistency.

Would hit a bomb, then ground an out pattern.

I have to disagree. He did get very consistent later in his career.

Left tackle is still a big question mark at this stage. Wanya is not ready and may not be until the second half of the year. I do think the O-line will be improved overall.
