@chavisut Pretty much this. Dumervil and Morris seem to be the top 2 OT targets at the moment. Morris recruitment is going to go all the way until the end and with a good season he could end up a Vol but A&M seems to be in the lead right now. They also have offered/recruiting a couple JUCO OT's. My guess is they go after some guys with good senior seasons that we aren't aware of yet/try to flip someone that's committed elsewhere/push hard for Morris. Obviously our staff is full of badass recruiters so I'm not worried at all, I mean they did sign the best OL class in the country about 8 months ago. Just put Nieds on a couple elite OT's and he'll reel one in...Good question. I just looked at the targets listed by GV247, and OTs are few and far between. I did find this from Callahan on 8/6/19:
Naturally, I'd assume the staff hasn't made OT the biggest priority this cycle after getting Wright and Morris in the last class. Dumervil is a top prospect though. From what I've read, FL and LSU seem to be towards the top right now for him.
Jerry Glanville used to live in Knoxville. He attended a Butch Jones practice. Butch asked him how it went. Glanville said to quit screaming through that microphone. Its a huge distraction. And u only got about 15 min of good quality practice time. Butch was the ultimate moron
Just lost my grandma. Kinda relieved for her as the past couple weeks have been really rough. Glad we were able to convince her to come out here a couple years ago so we could spend a lot of time together and be there with her in the end. I'm gonna miss taking her to the grocery store every weekend and her sharp wit and unconditional love.
One thing that stood out in the practice report above all else: Tyler Byrd.
Heโs been through arguably the worst 2-year period of UT football, and many suspected him to be a transfer. Iโm nobody and I had my doubts. Now we see a report of him jumping into a play Rudy-style to show em all how itโs done. I want success in wins and losses for all of us, but more than that I want to see someone like Tyler have that Cinderella, comeback story.
Thanks. Definitely not worried about cruitin.@chavisut Pretty much this. Dumervil and Morris seem to be the top 2 OT targets at the moment. Well damn. Sounds like it's been a really rough few weeks for several and I hate that.Hold on to those memories. I lost my brother last week as he couldn't overcome his battle with cancer. That's a nasty ass disease that need a cure. I've done nothing this week but look at pictures of us growing up over the years. He was only a year older than me and I miss him more than anything. Right now, life sucks.
