After missing bowls two years in a row I think 6 wins is a successful season. At least you go to a bowl, get the extra practices, and hopefully land another win. There’s good momentum in this.

This thing is a 5 year rebuild. Doesn’t mean we won’t get better each year but it takes time to build quality depth which is what’s needed to win at a high level in the SEC.

I thought 5 last year was going to cost us players like Crouch, To'oto'o, etc. I think it is more how they play than an exact number of wins.

Sadly we even went 5-6 in 2005. I was at the Vandy game. I remember my dad and I thinking it was an absolute fluke of a terrible season. Then it happened again in 2008...and 2011...and 2012...and 2013...and 2017 (well, worse)...and 2018.

Yep. Crazy. I dont know if we can get back to the 90s level of success but I do know with phil at the helm we should be a lot better than that. With stability and competent coaching there is NO reason Tennessee should not win 8 games every year.
