The only way Trey won't play is if the clots reoccur or if he decides not to take the risk. Continuing has been his choice and he made it with his family, after being fully tested and evaluating all the medical opinions. He wants to play. I think the bigger question is how will they manage his reps and how limited will he be?

Keon Johnson moved up to 17 in Rivals rankings and is now a 5 star. TN has two 5 stars and has a great shot at Jaden Springer. This could end up being the greatest recruiting class in Mens Bball history.
We now have the number 2 ranked class on Rivals and the number 6 ranked class on 247.

Talk me down boys, starting to get a bad feeling about this season. It just feels like things aren’t going our way at all from a roster perspective.

After missing bowls two years in a row I think 6 wins is a successful season. At least you go to a bowl, get the extra practices, and hopefully land another win. There’s good momentum in this.

This thing is a 5 year rebuild. Doesn’t mean we won’t get better each year but it takes time to build quality depth which is what’s needed to win at a high level in the SEC.

I just feel like anything less than 7 and it’s gonna be a challenge to get these high level guys we are in on.

Well if we can force turnovers like we did against Auburn then that’s definitely possible. It took 3 or 4 to win that one but it happened.

"Trey Smith at left guard "

Notably, freshman Wanya Morris appeared to get some work at left guard. Brandon Kennedy and Jerome Carvin looked to take most of their reps at center, with Ryan Johnson at right guard and Darnell Wright at right tackle. Jahmir Johnson worked at left tackle, Marcus Tatum at right tackle, Trey Smith at left guard and K'Rojhn Calbert at right guard. Riley Locklear also looked to be a little bit limited during drills.
