I'm ready for USCjr to take their rightful place at or near the bottom of the east. We need to pass them up this year for the foreseeable future. Would be nice for them to give up by mid year and miss a bowl game. That would crater their recruiting and help us lap them soon.
Strong team for them this year. Tough schedule so don’t be deceived by the record

I agree. Their recruiting has been on par with ours (or possibly better). It will be a tough game for us, but I am hoping they give up on CWM. He has been recruiting well for their historical standards. I'd like to see them fire him. Then replace him with someone worse.

From what I hear, the important people are happy with his direction and see the stacked schedule this season. Unless they tank against weak teams, he’s safe

Exactly his style imo. Figures no one outside the team needs to know..

Reminds me a lot of the 98 dline group. A lot of guys roughly the same but no true superstar. Walker was solid as a transfer and Ratliff wasbetter than average imo . I just hope we can force the los this year.
Uhhhh.... we had a future NFL Pro Bowler in Shaun Ellis. He was a Bauce.

If USCjr fails to make a bowl game they may fire Muschamp. Which hopefully would spiral them down further. This article shows their fans may not put up with them missing a bowl game.

Gamecock Football 2019: Mission Impossible

We need to pass UK, Vandy, USCjr for the foreseeable future and put some laps between us and their programs starting in 2019. That is a reasonable goal for 2019 - and those three games plus winning the 4 out of conference games gets us to 7 wins.

I can get greedy and say let's also win one out of the Miss State and Mizzu games to get us to 8 total.

Win both of those that's 9, and with a bowl win we now have a 10 win season and Pruitt is COY!

Yep. We need to pass those other SEC East programs on the field and in the minds of recruits. We still think we rightfully belong in the same conversation with Georgia and Florida but I think that is far from a consensus opinion these days. We have to earn that respect back on the field, and it seems like we are going to have to do it the Rick Barnes way with under-the-radar talent. From the practice reports it sounds like we may be on our way to doing that. We will see. Need to have a long view though. I don’t think this a quick turnaround and we may not see that fully this fall.

lol no way. We brought in 14 blue chip recruits last year. They brought in less than half that. The year before, when Pruitt had 2 weeks to recruit, we still brought in 8 and they had 9 during Muschamp's money year. We are only going to continue to reel in double digit blue chippers every year and they will be lucky to get half what Pruitt does.

Serious question, how is keeping Aubrey’s appeal from the public going to help us this fall? Is it going to give us some sort of competitive against Georgia State? We are going to destroy that team with or without him. If he plays in the first game the next opponent will prepare for him to be on the field. There’s literally no reason at all to hide his status from the public. Use your noggin man.....

More importantly, he'd be keeping it from the team. And there's 0% chance 110 kids know he's playing and are staying shut. Not in this day.

That’s part of the problem for UGA. They recruit divas that look good on paper but don’t bring home the hardware.
I don’t deny that he’s a diva, hell I’ve read an interview where he’s quoted as saying he’s an artist and didn’t even really like football until recently. Kinda reminds me of Ricky Williams in a way. But there’s no doubt he’s one of the top 2 backs in this years class talent wise.

I wasn't inferring it would be an advantage, I was saying Pruitt Seems to be tight lipped about most everything regarding the team.. It just seems odd to me that this close to game 1 Solomon is still running with the 1's.
I said imo but it certainly won't be the first or last time I was wrong.

Disgusting. We will definitely be getting better soon, but still battling it out for 2nd place in the SEC east for the foreseeable future. Too much talent in Athens.

Btw I strongly recommend reading Tathan Martells twitter comments I'm dying
I dont think we have to get as much talent as Georgia to compete with them. If we have key players playing key roles and better coaching, that can make up the difference. Maybe not this year, but next year and the years after. We have completed with them with less talent.
