That's good. Didn't act like it was just injury and definitely didn't give the impression Alontae wasn't still great.
Keep em coming.

I thought they want Alontae for the Star position, so WB is not necessarily better than him. Just makes the team better by replacing the existing Star player. May be wrong and may be thinking of another position.

WB is going to be a beast if he stays healthy. Great size for a CB, played CB so it's more natural and was in a stout state for talent (Georgia). Very smart kid as well, just look at his offer list as a 3 star...he wasn't exactly being overlooked.

I'm real excited about the defense this year...hope we can turn Neyland into a no fly zone.

Just talking about how the VQ guys were discussing. They didn't say Alontae was going to lose his spot, just that WB had done well enough to make a case if it were today. But Alontae should be back to making his case soon.

Very familiar story. We have like a 20% success rate with JUCO players
JUCO linemen seem to rarely start right away. I can't think of one here that has. But they seem to be capable of providing backup right away (Gooden, Owen Williams, etc) and have solid senior seasons (Owen, Alexis).
