When officers began to serve him the order, Willis became irate and grabbed his gun.

One of the officers tried to take the gun from Willis, but instead Willis fired the gun.

The second officer fired a gun, striking Willis. He died at the scene.

On paper "Red Flag" laws make a lot of sense. In reality they would equal chaos.

You can see it coming from a mile away.

"That racist redneck next door just put up a Trump Flag. I'm going to report him that he has a mental problem and is dangerous!"

Why is it the government's decision, without any due process, to decide who or doesn't get to own a gun? Also, in order to buy a gun, there is already a mandatory FBI background check required by law (with mental health records). Do you realize these red flag laws only penalize the law abiding citizens?

There are more guns than there are people in the US. Good luck confiscating guns.
