Sounds like a horrible idea, but I'd like to point out he's not the first ass clown to use Executive Orders to push bad ideas. It's a growing problem.

Not what I said. It's already a problem that has spanned between the parties. You act as if it started with Trump and thus the next Democratic President will be justified because of that. It's disingenuous. It didn't start with Trump. Why not simply acknowledge the truth that the problem is older than that? Unless of course you're pushing an agenda, in which case, I understand why you want to paint that picture.

Nobody said he was the first. Nobody "acted" like it. You're just deflecting or you didn't understand the post in the first place. I'm griping about this specific XO, not the use of XO's in general.

And I said this specific XO sounded horrible. Your OP brought in Trump and using this XO to justify Kamala Harris or some other Dem President doing similar. So who's deflecting? I only responded based off what you wrote in your OP.

I’m as shocked to learn that @n_huffhines didn’t care about past executive order abuses as I was to learn, just yesterday, that I myself didn’t care about locking people up away from their families 3/4/5/10 years ago.

So shocked, in fact, that I don’t believe it.

Is this true, Huff? Or were you just making the point that both sides get to/tend to play by the same rules and that people who support Trump need to think about what precedent his policies set so they don’t have some twat saying things like “yeah but you make it seem like this is something new.” When they start shrieking about Democrat executive orders?

The Democrats swore under Bush that he was going to use simple majority to pass a bad patriot act. They said it would be the worst thing to ever happen. Bush didn’t......but they did. When it happened I warned several people they wouldn’t like it when the republicans had the power.

Ex orders are the new way of doing things and it’s not going away.
