I think everyone’s first reaction is to get out of dodge, but there are times you can’t or don’t have the choice. I choose to carry for the safety of my family and self preservation in the very unlikely scenario that one of those instances happen.

Not everyone wants to go out packing heat and most people are not afraid enough to prep for such situations. You are prepared for the worst and I'm not going to give you or anyone grief for doing it. I would like for us to develop as a society so that kind of preparation is unnecessary.

What difference does it make. You can’t box pro-gun people into self defense and hunting categories because that’s what YOU want. This guy guy fit neither by the way.

You're right, self-defense has never been the real rationale. It's always at bottom been "Eff off, I like guns."

Kumbaya. The problem with humans is we have melded a society together of people that didn't advance at the same level. Do you ever wonder why different continents have different levels of technology? It's because they didn't advance at the same rate but now we stick everyone together and all hell breaks loose.

There's that "assault rifle" propaganda terminology again...
What mechanics actually make a rifle an assault rifle? Scary looking doesn't count.

There are many families that didn't advance after the Civil War, now they have internet.

Make it real simple for you, but I know you’ll dance around it with some non-answer or a tweet. What does self defense have to do with this guy in Dayton or specifically 2A rights in this instance?

That is such crap. Technology has been bringing the world together since the beginning of time. Some people can't accept it like the Muslim terrorist and white nationalist of present day.

You don’t think technology distances people?

Most people stand around like sticks in the mud because they think its "Fireworks" which is sad...not being able to tell the difference.

I saw a guy on the bluff in Memphis start dive into the dirt and roll for cover when fireworks started going off. I kind of envy the people who don't have the experiences necessary to know what those cracks and pops could mean.

Unless Carhartt is making body armor hoodies he didn't have any on. I seen a pic of him laying there deceased and handcuffed. His hoodie he had on was this one.

I think it can lead to more anti social behavior and a disconnect from reality. But so can lots of things.
The disconnect from reality is not even the problem for the antisocial, it's that their beliefs or disconnected reality is truth because it has been "confirmed" through internet rhetoric. Feeling empowered by the confirmation leads to this sh!t.
