Arian has always been the joker on the team. Remember when he interviewed himself and then interviewed himself as another player (or something like that). Plain and simple, it is just his nature to be goofy. Nothing wrong with it.
However, there is a time and place for it. I dont disagree with him not talking to the media. BUT. The team is doing terrible, when he gets the ball we pray he doesnt fumble, two other backs on the team are better and more talented, and he cant score a touchdown or make a big play. Now is the time for SENIOR leadership, not freshman antics.

Portis is a superstar.

Arian's not the best back on his own team right now. But I know where you're coming from.

5-0, 4-1 = Hilarious
2-3 (No wins over BCS or SEC) = Deep Analysis

This is the ultimate truth. We are simply a fan base that cannot laugh. The posts are becoming more bitter with more misdirection. I understand hating losing -- but relax people.

I would respond further, but my playing days ended in high school.

Yep, let's laugh at not taking a horrible season seriously.

Yes, it's very apparent he doesn't care by his play and anger on the sidelines. He generally appears as though he's just punching the clock each game (insert large layer of sarcasm here).

While the head coach is fielding questions, basically fighting for his job, ole Arian is 5 feet away talking like a prehistoric bird.

If you can't tell he has been outplayed by Hardesty on the field this year, then I cannot help you, sir.

Rest assured, I don't need help -- nor would I want yours. However, by what measure is Hardesty better? Arian still has a better yards per carry average -- with more carries. I'm not saying one is better than the other, I'm just stating that people are trying hard to place blame which distorts their views. For all the crap AF gets, I didn't see a peep about Hardesty pounding the line 3 times in a row for -1 yards to get a critical first down. Now --does that make one back better than the other...no. My point is people are only looking at the favorable side of Hardesty and Creer (while exciting has done nothing but in mop up duty against are weakest opponents) because they crave change or something new. Be careful what you wish for -- a 5.2 YPC average is not something I would want to give up. Fumbles? Legit argument given the timing.

The point is the 3 backs are impressive but I doubt one back has really set himself apart from the others.

Don't you think that would be why his stats are better...let's think shall we. Hardesty is not being used, as he should since he's the better back, period.

 I thought Arian's comments were hilarious

But what is the deal with Clinton Portis? Did he do something similar?

Montario Hardesty is running harder than any back we have.....if you can't see that somethings wrong with ya.......give him 20 touches and let him get in a rythmn...then let Creer hit the tired defense with some speed. Dinosaur boy should be sitting on the side thinking about how as a senior he shouldn't be getting drive killing personal foul penalties and how that's not really funny at all. The only thing less comical than dinosaur talk is fumbling away a couple of games every year.

This smells of a lack of discipline from the top.......not any wrong doing by coach or player.

Hey, tell all the 4th grade fart jokes you want when you're winning and NOT making mistake after mistake and getting your TEAM beat funny man.

You left out the part about being in the game long enough to get in a rythmn...but thanks for the stats boss.

Against UCLA Hardesty had 12 carries to Foster's 13. Foster had the higher ypc. Against Auburn Hardesty had 10 compared to Foster's 8. Foster had the higher ypc.
